Terrible service and communication with Doctor and Office!! Appts cancelled and paperwork not prepared in advance for procedures!!! I would never ever recommend this practice!!!!

Wonderful dr. Was guided till the day of surgery just like I was told. I was very comfortable with Dr Shah.My surgery went very very well.its 3 months now and yes the pain does go away.sometimes I forget about my knee wonderful feeling.Dr. shah is the best I totally recommend him to anyone.I can't thank you enough Dr.Shah!.

He is a great person

After knee replacement, he ignored all signs and complaints of an infection. Had to have 3 more surgeries ( not wit him) to remove the knee replacement and treat the infection. Lost 6 months of work and lots of pain. Visiting him after first surgery consisted of hello and goodbye and a glance at my knee.

I first went to Dr. Brian Cole from Englewood referred by my son's friend that works there. When consulted with Dr. Cole and from an x-ray he though it might be a hip issue. This, he referred me to Shah. Unless you have only a hip issue don't go to him. The reviews I had read about him prior to seeing him gave me pause. My son's friend indicates that he's a good doctor but not great surgeon but has no bedside manner. If you want a good doctor that will spend some time with you for a consultation as to what you may have if it's not strictly a hip issue just walk away. Don't just just him by his credentials only. Of the two times I met with him if we spentfive minutes total that's a lot. Just stay away unless it is hip related. He knows nothing else nor treated anything else. Same e your money. I would send a cadaver to him for consultation.

I was recommended by his associate Dr. Salob and at least 8 of his past patients. I had both total hip replacements done within 5 months at the age of 80. He was great, a real professional surgeon. I highly recommend using him. I also saw negative comments regarding wait time in the waiting room, I have never experienced waiting more than 20 minutes. In any event it is well worth the wait time to see One of the 10 Best Orthopedic Surgeons in NJ by NewJersey Magazine. He is not only gentle but a caring individual.

Very bad Dr bad bad bad cancels on you when you are in pain .. Patient is a number only ... He doesn't listen to you , when you talk about your pain ..Don't how to him . Please Don't I'll will recommend reporting him to the New Jersey division of consumer relations .

Had two hip replacements two years apart by Dr Shah and extremely satisfied with results. Not a man of many words BUT an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone.

He was incredibly rude. I did not trust him at all and went to another orthopedist for evaluation.

Dr. Shah did my hip revision surgery. He is a brilliant surgeon. He fixed a botched job done by the first surgeon. He is a very caring doctor, who spent a great deal of time with me explaining things. I highly recommend him.

Dr Shah is caring surgeon, with top medical credentials, personable, and knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain procedures. Englewood Orthopedic practice is always busy, they have a great staff and will accommodate patients. I would recommend Dr Shah to anyone who is experiencing problems w hip or knee and considering replacement surgery.

I had been in severe pain and denial a long time but when convinced I had to get it done he was the best. My recovery time was briefier than what I had heard based on his technical skill which is clearly superb. You want someone who is at the top of their field and how many Dr can say they invented a knee for women? One Dr Asit Shah.

This man is egotistical and arrogant. That would not matter too much if he were a good surgeon. In my experience he certainly is not. He performed a partial hip replacement on my right side. The prosthesis was improperly placed, causing my injured leg to lean inward. The leg was also twisted, causing me to be pigeon-toed on that side, and shortened by one half inch. It is more than a year since the surgery. I have pain in the groin and my altered gait has caused chronic neck pain. I walk with a cane. Sometimes, today for instance, I could not stand on my right leg at all and suffered serious pain. I had to resort to using a wheel chair.I would not like to spend the rest of my life lame and uncomfortable, so am looking into the possibility of a revision by a competent surgeon.

dr shah is a wonderful surgeon, but it is very dificult to get him or a member of his staff to clarify any problems after discharge to a rehab center. Even the rehab center is having a dificult time trying to comunicate with him.

I waited at the office for 20 mins only for him to see me for 3 mins. When I asked him questions about my knee and mri results he did not explain anything but told me I needed surgery. When I asked about the surgery he told me to talk to the surgeon. He is not very caring towards his patients and all he sees is dollar bills going from patient to patient.

Genius. The best for knees. My two knee replacements are fabulous.
