This man is wonderful professional courteous kind and caring. He followed me through my recovery to the end. His wound care particular rules when taking care of your surgery closing are meticulous for a reason. He is excellent...Whoever said he is mediocre is brainless and clearly didn't follow his direction....The man is above and beyond excellent !! He made me appreciate how important his work is through his obvious care.... And his staff hold him to the same regard. He has a wonderful staff too!

The clinical and office staff are courteous, professional and empathetic. Dr. Da Silva provides services both in hospital and in office for any necessary follow ups.

Dr. Da Silva is a kind and compassionate Dr. He took the time to explain my issues and the proper care needed. He is caring and his upmost concern is your comfort. Over the past 8 months he was genuinely concerned about my progress. I cannot express how grateful I am that Dr. Da Silva was the surgeon to operate on my back.

Like all professions there are some excellent Dr.s and some who just don't have it. Silva is a mediocre surgeon by LI standards, and far below passing in many parts of the US. Look elsewhere.

I had tailbone surgery in which Dr.Da Silva was requested by my surgeon to close me up. He visited me in the hospital each day and thoroughly went over my care. During follow-up appointments in his office, he was just as thorough. Excellent beside manner!

Was very happy with Dr. Da Silva. He visited the hospital daily. Even late evening to make sure he did visit daily. Explained surgery before and during entire healing process. Office visits were comfortable for me. When I was stressed the Dr. reassured my and also explained everything that needed to be done of my surgery visit.
