5 stars is not enough. The experience, team, and outcomes of my treatment with Austin Harris MD have all been truly exceptional. I have dealt with treatment resistant depression for over a decade, with some successes but some frustrations from both traditional and non-traditional remedies. Dr. Harris’s open minded yet scientific approach was exactly what I was looking for, blending the best parts of more mindfulness based treatments I have tried and traditional chemical treatments. Dr. Harris treated me as much more than a patient, but a human being with a shared experience.

I’ve been white-knuckling it through severe depression and anxiety for 26 years, without any relief from psychiatric medications. I thought something was wrong with me because medications seem to bring others relief but I continued to struggle. Turns out I’ve had treatment-resistant depression this whole time, and that meds were never gonna help me! After realizing this, and while in a state of crisis, Austin Harris MD offered to start me on the ketamine treatment protocol within the next couple of days - excellent scheduling and availability! Dr. Harris is among the few treatment providers I’ve ever worked with who made me feel immediately cared for. Emma, Natalie, and Cassie (staff) made me feel equally welcome and comfortable with no judgment or sense that they thought something was “wrong” with me. I considered treatment here, then long story short, found out that Dr Austin Harris currently has his license suspended, for not one but THREE DUIs (spanning over a decade), three most recent one where he was visibly drunk and disheveled in his scrubs ON THE WAY TO HIS SHIFT AS AN ANESTHESIOLOGIST AT THE ER in Temecula. Twice he also became unresponsive "for several minutes" while a patient was under anesthesia. His license is suspended, but somehow he's still allowed to practice, but only with someone else with a license in the room... he cannot take or have prescription drugs on him...is in court ordered therapy, 12 step meetings, and has one of those things on his car that he blows in before driving. 2023 update, he was arrested for storming the Capitol building (Google for articles + pictures); saying that guards there are Nazis. A friend turned him in for his role.

Truly wonderful clinic and staff. The clinic runs a fantastic 6 treatment program with coaching sessions. As a long time depression sufferer, I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. Dr. Harris is informative, sensitive and understanding. Extremely professional with excellent bedside manner. His staff of nurses headed by Emma couldn’t have been nicer, gentler or more encouraging. This clinic is for you if you’re looking for a holistic approach, with fantastic aftercare.
