Dr. Babak Alex Vakili

Dr. V is a Cardio, Vascular Vein doctor and he takes his work very seriously. Not real talkative, but will answer your questions and very through in his testing and quick with his follow-ups. He types about 99 wpm on his pc and documents everything. He has a very pleasant staff, nice and helpful Nurse Practitioner. I was referred to him by my Podiatrist for ankle/leg swelling & pain. He did one procedure on my right leg and the swelling & pain have subsided about 60%. Been seeing him about 3 months so far, no complaints. Left leg scheduled in Feb. 2020.

Looked up Dr V's education, looks like he attended Cornell and NYU. Two thumbs up. An expert in his field.

I got hospitalized at south Seminole hospital while traveling from Georgia visiting family. This doctor saw me at the hospital and treated my condition. He was able to diagnose what my cardiologists in Georgia did not pick up on for years I will certainly drive back from Georgia to see him as my doctor. He seems to know what he is talking about. Knowledgeable and friendly doctor. We feel very lucky we ran into him. Literally!

The doctor treated my spider veins , in 3 sessions, and you almost cant see them anymore. thank you and I am very happy with results.

Busy Dr but worth the wait.

My wife and I have been going to Dr Vakili for 15 years. He saved my life twice when I had my heart attacks and performed life saving heart stent procedures on me that saved my like. We have. We are so grateful to have had Dr Vakili as oir cardiologist for such long time. Excellent caring physician who listens to us.

Great doctor and would recommend to friends and family in a heart beat! I'm forever grateful for him and how he and his staff treats me.

I have only been a patient for less than a year but I am very impressed by this office on a whole. Dr Vakili is very knowledgable and seems to show genuine concern. I believe his immediate staff that work directly with him makes his practice what it is. Be prepared for a long visit but I'm assuming this is what you get with specialists as I have other specialty doctors and they also have long wait times. The staff is very welcoming and know how to calm your nerves. I would recommend this doctor to my family and friends.

When he can't be there within twenty minutes of the appointment time I find that to be disrespectful to me. I do not tolerate that kind of treatment. It happened twice. No more!

My wife and I have been going to Dr Vakili's office for the past 7 years. He has saved my life from a heart attack on fathers day, when he rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night and opened my clogged artery with a stent. I disagree with the previous reviewer, his bedside manners are excellent and he genuinely cares about patient, him and his staff Abby and Heather are always courteous to me and my wife and readily available. My are grateful for all that he has done for our family.

My husband and I both go to Dr. Vikili and we both are more than satisfied with his care. We find him to be professional and to the point, but always takes the time to ask if we have any questions or concerns. He has always taken the time to explain what we asked of him. We also see the other doctors in the service and are as pleased with them as we are with Doctor Vikili.......and gosh...he has kept us well.........Heather the office manager is so helpful in everyway...nurses are considerate..Exceptional office and doctors.....

I saw the doctor once in the several visits I had . I dealt mostly with his nurse practicioner. My problem still continues. They keep refering to other specialists and more testing. As for this office sharing test results, ordering medications I would score them poor.I'm thankful though with the days and days of test , finally I heard that my heart was fine. I wonder if these doctors realize the stress people feel in the waiting process. The office front desk is amazing and very calming , as for some of those in the back office , they need to step it up. My experience was with Dr. Vakili and his immediate staff. All the lab techs and moniter techs, Stress test employees where amazingly wonderful . I would have like to see the doctor more for my results and explanations.

It was the decision I mad when I decided to visit vakili's practice. The staff are great as they try to serve customers. I got to my appointment 15mins late, check in was fast . However when I got into the patient's room waiting for the doctor, I waited 1 hour before he came into see me. Dropped himself on the chair and started rolling off questions off his tongue, not giving enough time to answer the questions correctly. My visit with him lasted less than 5 mins and this was my very first time seeing a cardiologist. To add injury to insult he kept the door open while he was seeing me. That cardiology group have too much patients than staffing. It was my first and last time going there, bedside manners is very important when caring for the sick.

Great bedside manner. I felt genuinely cared about. Little long wait time but I guess you get what you wait for.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vakili's for about 5 years. His straight forward answers and his genuine concern shows me he really cares! His medical assistant, Heather and his nurse practitioner, Abbie, are always welcoming and make you feel like an old friend. Heather always returns my calls the same day and can run the office with her eyes closed. They are the best team!!!
