Dr. Barbara Sroka Carlson, MD

I went to her as a new patient, new to the area when I first moved here. She was at Bella Nova at the time. I had a little nervousness about seeing a new doctor. Within 3 minutes of the appointment, she said I had bipolar disorder. (I have long experience with this and am not bipolar). I went in for period issues. She told me she was bipolar and it was common. She spent the entire time talking about mental illness instead of why I made the appointment in the first place. She was very judgemental and rude, and I never got any help with my issue. Go see Dr. Kasko in Coloma instead. She will listen to you and help fix the issue.

Dr. Carlson is not the best choice for a young adult. She is judgmental and makes you feel like you are lying to her when you provide truly honest answers. If you are seeking a warm, open experience, she is not the doc for you. Her medical assistant is extremely nice and helpful.

This M D needs to retire since she obviously does not enjoy taking care of anyone. Very rude and sarcastic when I asked questions. She acted as though I was bothering her. If you have a choice, do not choose her.
