Dr. Barbara Ellen Safran, MD

Our visit to Dr. Safran today was a very good visit in every way. As a medical professional, I have an idea of what goes on behind the scenes, and was impressed from beginning to end. My eight year old daughter was referred to Dr. Safran for an opinion of her tonsils and adnoids. Dr Safran was very kind to her, and explained every step in great detail before performing any tests. The doctor also took plenty of time to answer my questions and point out the anatomy on the wall chart. What was most appealing to me about the visit, was her direct honesty that my daughter may NOT benefit from the removal of her tonsils and adnoids. Even tho she felt that there could be a slight improvement in my daughter's condition, she clearly explained that she would not recommend the surgery at this time.
