Great experience. He is a wonderful provider. He actually listens to you. Explains what he is going to do. And it happen just that way. I also have recommend AtlantiCare surgical team as well. They were spot on. To say the AtlantiCare team and Dr Woods were a well oiled machine would be an understatement. Thank you everything.

He is absolutely awesome. My husband calls him a hero. He relieved all the pain, anxiety, and apprehension in having surgery. Very caring and compassionate for the patient and the family.

I saw Dr Woods at the office in Sewell office twice . He was very helpful. The staff was efficient and kind.

Dr. Woods is the best spinal surgeon in the area. Not just because of his skill set, but because of his caring attitude towards his patients. No need to go to Philadelphia, when you have the best right here at home

I have seen Dr. Woods twice so far, both visits had short wait times and friendly staff. Once I was able to see Dr. Woods he promptly answered all my question.

I was seen by Dr. Woods for a herniated disc resulting from a Motor Vehicle Crash. This was a workers compensation case. After numerous visits I was advised I would need surgery. I chose not to have the surgery after Dr. Woods told me he was not confident that the surgery decrease my pain. He gave me two options have surgery or go back to work. Unfortunately just because I chose not to have surgery did not mean my injuries went away. Dr. Woods was very unprofessional and had poor bed side manners. I am not sure if this was because I was a worker’s compensation case. A year later after my accident and I still have neck pain. Thank you Dr. Woods by taking the pressure off yourself that you are willing to do surgery but were not confident that it would help with relieving pain and putting the pressure to make a decision that can result in a failed procedure or go back to work.

My 64yr old husband saw Dr. Woods Dec 2019 after his back "went out" in Aug. He had 2 prior surgeries many years ago. Dr. Woods did not push him to have to surgery because he was felling better but had us come back in 3 months. By then we knew it was time. He had a Lumbar Laminectomy & Fusion and was up the next day feeling stronger than he ever had before! But the best part is how compassionate Dr. Woods is. He really listens. He is just a wonderful man.

Choosing to go with Dr. Woods for my surgery was the best decision. He was very professional and compassionate throughout the process. I would recommend him to anyone having back problems.

Dr Woods performed a lumbar laminectomy and spinal fusion on me in 2018. The surgery and recovery went great. What really impressed me was his personal interest and concern. About a year later I called a out a. Unrelated issue. He remembered who i was and called me back on a Sunday, twice to follow up. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Woods is a great doctor, very knowledgeable, explains everything in plain English and makes sure you understand. He answers the messages himself, something unusual in surgeons. His bed side manner are great and more beautiful is his beautiful human side. Makes you feel welcome and comfortable.I'm seen him for my neck and back and did a recent back surgery on my husband We can't be more grateful to him. I had a herniated disc that in my lower back Dr. Woods removed. He told me pre-surgery that my leg pain would be gone when I awoke. He was right! My only major pain was at the surgical site and over a period of weeks it healed completely. I was pleased with his staff and also his demeanor. He carefully answered all my questions and my confidence in his treatment was very high.

I had cervical multi-level anterior discectomy and fusion. From start to finish, Dr. Woods kept us informed on every aspect of my surgery and recovery. He is a great surgeon!! I would recommend him to anyone, he’s so knowledgeable and precise - took me from being in severe pain everyday and fixed me to give me my life back. He’s the best !!!

I was referred to Dr Woods after being hospitalized for pain management. He sent me for physical therapy (that’d be my 3rd time in PT for this exact same issue). This is despite Dr Woods being consulted 3 times about my case while I was still hospitalized. As usual, I left without an appointment. He did refer me to a pain management doctor, but he did absolutely nothing. Avoid this particular office. I can’t speak for Rothman’s other facilities (but avoid Dr Woods at any location).

great doctor and a better person

A great Dr. as well as human being. My wife had 2 disc operations and I just had a major fusion and laminectomy on my lower back. Excellent care and surprisingly fast recovery. We would give him the highest praise for skill and bedside manner.

Dr. Woods is the best, he is a very caring surgeon. I had a laminectomy he explained everything to me about the surgery, He also gave me a lot of information about the surgery and what to expect after, which was very informative. I am now pain free.

I had received three alternate doctors’ opinions and all three tried to push me toward a nerve stimulation implant. Finally after being referred to Dr. Woods he provided in detail what was going on with my back and nerves. I decided to have Dr. Woods do a lower lumbar laminectomy with fusion and now I am in minimal pain. I am still recuperating and getting ready for physical therapy and feeling 90% better. He is a very knowledgeable and compassionate doctor and he was able to make me feel comfortable enough to have the surgery. He provided me a phone number for direct contact to him just in case I had any questions and/or concerns.

on May 15th 2018 I was in a terrible car accident for an hour I was trapped in the car my C6 was snapped it was compressing my spinal cord. Dr Woods was the surgeon who performed my emergency operation this is the type of injury that causes paralysis normally. when I was trapped in that car for a whole hour all I did was pray to God she be able to walk again and try to wiggle my toes. my whole body felt like it was on fire from the nerve damage when I woke up out of surgery there was no more burning I felt so much better. I was walking and just a couple days with helping the physical therapist at Atlantic City Medical Center I'm home now and have been and I'm doing great I'm living alone doing everything that I would normally would be able to do. sometimes I almost forget I was in an accident. its takenme longer than I wanted to make this review because there's no words that can express how wonderful this man is so I decided to just write it.
