Highly recommend. I had a severe herniated disc, I walked into the NJ orthopedic center and was quickly helped by Michael a PA who works with the Dr. He scheduled me for surgery ASAP, due to the severe conditions I was experiencing - totally numb below the waist , foot drop and a host of other concerns. Post surgery my foot is moving and many symptoms are gone or reducing with time and PT. Much Thanks Michael and Dr Salari and team.

Dr. Salari, Mike & Dana took care of my mother after a bad fall. She was in bad pain and needed care urgently. We were promptly seen and she was eventually doing much better. The staff worked with our insurance to make sure we were taken care of and the follow up care was exceptional.

Dr Solari was professional And did a great job with my neck fusion. He took the time to explain the procedure and he was patient with my questions and concerns

My Back feels great after surgery. He explained all medical problems in an easy to understand manner. Listens closely to all my concerns and addressed them. His PA Mike is great too.

I was a workers comp patient with severe low back pain. Dr. Salari & Mike resolved my issues completely and worked well with my case manager and pain management doctor.

I had two prior back surgeries by two other surgeons and I needed another to fix the first two that failed. I was sent to Dr. Salari. He took the time to explain everything and the surgery went great. My back and leg pain are completely gone! I would highly recommend him if you need correcting other surgery that didn’t work.

I first came to Dr. Salari after a scheduled appointment with my orthopedist. From the minute my Orthopedist walked into the room I knew something was terribly wrong. He immediately said I needed to see the practices spinal surgeon and that he double booked me and I needed to go right over...I was petrified! Needless to say, by the time I got there I was hysterical. I went into the room with my xrays and MRI and Dr. Salari reviewed both and immediately knew what needed to be done. After hearing his game plan, I was overwhelmed and scared beyond words. I immediately said, "great, I'll never walk again" Dr. Salari very matter of fact turned to me and said, " Then I'm not the Doctor for you ". It was that type of confidence and grounding I needed at that moment to refocus me on my damaged spine. I did get several second opinions but my gut instinct was still with Dr. Salari. And I will never regret the choice I made. I am 2 months out from a multi-level ALIF and an Anterior Laminectomy and Foraminotomy. The care and compassion I received from this Doctor goes above and beyond. He personally came in to see me everyday during my 5 day hospital stay. His care thus far during my home recovery has been excellent. If you need him at anytime, he is reachable and gets back to you promptly. I know I still have a long road ahead with my recovery, but I thank God every day for bringing Dr. Salari into my life....I will forever be grateful for the gift God gave him!!!

An amazing physician with an awesome bedside manor. We attempted a more conservative route of treatment (my choice) prior to a microdiscectomy. My back feels like a million bucks, following the surgery and I can't thank him enough!!!!

Dr Solari is excellent. Conservative approach and tried numerous options before surgery. He listens, he's compassionate and encourages you to ask as many questions as possible plus he has a wonderful bedside manner. Had spinal fusion with no complications and couldn't be happier with results. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Had neck surgery. Excellent Physician. Explained surgery in detail to myself and my wife. Didn't push you into it. Great bed side manners. Would recommend this doctor to family and friends over any other dr.

Dr Salari is the real deal, up to date on procedures and very easy to get answers from. This is my third spinal surgery, 3rd Dr and I wouldn't send my ex Mother- in-Law to the last 2. I needed a rather lengthy and large fusion done,.they have numerous facilities to make getting an appt close easy. Their facilities are vey clean, modern and even hae PT right in A few offices. Visits are very friendly and you feel at ease from girls at the desk, to the time Janice (who was fantastic) would come in and update your files, to the visit with the Dr. He was always straight forward with options ,never forced surgery on me and we explored all the options. His bedside manner and the way he spoke with my wife at the hospital was second to none. Thanks to Janice and the Doc I am on the road to recovery. After years of back pain and being told by another surgeon my case wasn't surgical, I met Dr. Salari. He diagnosed my problem and attempted conservative treatment first. When that was unsuccessful he let me know my options and laid out the risks and benefits of each. I opted for the fusion surgery. (Best decision I ever made!) The staff at The Orthopedic Institute is wonderful. The surgery was scheduled quickly and the paperwork was done without issue. Only once did I have more than 5 minute wait time in the office. Dr Salari continues to follow up with you post op, he does not just hand off your case to a PA. Highly recommend. Agree with another poster Dr Castro is incredible too.

Dr. Salari is a well educated surgeon who diagnosed my neck and arm pain issue promptly and with confidence. He was also even more clear about the risks involved in regards to any choice I made in regards to treatment. I was well informed and had received many high regards in Dr. Salari's surgical ability and results. Therefore, I felt confident in getting ACDF surgery. His staff contacted me immediately to schedule surgery , was very courteous every time I visited the Succasunna office and always remembered my name. I was also placed on Temporary Disability and the paperwork was completed quickly and efficiently. The surgery was very successful and the incision point is barely noticeable. Although, there is expected "healing" pains form this surgery, the pain caused by my cervical stenosis has been relieved. Dr. Salari also made it clear that he wants the healing process to be effective, so he was very precise and included many cautions with his recovery instructions. As opposed to rushing his patients back to work and "normal" activities, he makes sure you will be fully healed and able to function properly and without pain. Just like his staff and the fellow pain management doctors I dealt with (Doctors Castro and Gutkin rock too), he really cares about what he does, cares how he does it, and most important, cares for his patients well being throughout the process. I would highly recommend this doctor if you require the surgery he is certified to do. I would also highly recommend this practice for any orthopedic needs because the entire staff is amazing and all the doctors are very well educated and experts in their fields.
