Dr. Benjamin Barckley Storey, MD

During my initial visit, Dr. Benjamin Storey was knowledgeable and empathetic regarding the stigma I felt. After an examination, he assured me that there were several solutions to stem my incontinence. He took time to describe each, explaining them clearly, without medical jargon. I agreed to proceed with the Medtronic Bladder Contol body implant. Once we received approval from my insurance that they would cover the costs of the equipment and the necessary outpatient hospital procedures, the Medtronic device was implanted---I had very little discomfort from the procedure, just as Dr. Storey said From home, I am able to adjust the level of the progressive stimulation of the implant. Dr. Storey monitors my progress and advises me as necessary. Before the implant, I consumed up to 15 incontinence pads daily. Now, a year later, the daily usage is down to 3 pads, and counting... I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Storey and his staff for their professionalism and caring.

I was so nervous on my first visit but the staff and especially Dr.Storey made me feel at ease for sure

So far my treatment has been ok I am not finished with my procedure hoping for a good result ????

Dr. Storey is a true professional; knowledgeable, personable, attentive to patient needs and a great communicator. Short wait times at his office, great staff. Dr. Storey performed a surgical procedure which went flawlessly with excellent results. Highly recommended.

Dr. Storey is experienced and knowledgeable and very reliable. He treated both my husband and I with respect and support. His office staff and nurses were also excellent!

I checked-in online the day before the appointment and when I arrived the online check-in had not made it to the from desk…

He is easy to talk to. Explains his diagnosis and proposed treatment plan. Is open to the patient asking questions. My only criticism is that you have to go through an answering service (even during office hours) to contact him or his office staff. This slows down communication.

I have been a patient for the past 2 years and he has done an excellent job in his handling my Prostrate situation. Through his efforts and recommendations my PSA has gone from 15 to 3 and expectations are it will go even lower

Dr. Storey is getting me through a very stressful time, and his bedside manner definitely makes me feel at ease. He truly wants to get to the source of my problems, and his proactive approach is appreciated

The excellent rating is for Dr Storey only. I would not rate the online patient portal nor the answering service highly. If you call Dr Storey’s office phone number, you get some type of answering service which takes down the reason for your call and sends a message to Dr Storey’s office. In my experience, this system puts an unnecessary intermediary between the patient and the doctor and delays the contact with his office.

Kind of early but so far so good. He seems very knowledgeable and great bedside manners.

Straight forward and to the point. Does not get ahead of the game, listens to your concerns and explains procedures.
