Dr. Benjamin Cooper, MD

My appointment with Dr. Cooper was held at 2:30pm Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023. It was quick and easy to get an appointment, which was my first with him. The pre-appointment paperwork was exhaustive and time-consuming. Dr. Cooper is a surprisingly friendly and engaging man. His manner is very different from most doctors that way, and this is refreshing. He explains complex medical matters in plain, simple ways so anyone can understand. He is direct, but not harsh. I can say, and with complete honesty, that Dr. Cooper is perhaps the most honest doctor I've ever met and, since I am 75, I've met quite a few. Additionally, Dr. Cooper said he was willing to attend a pending surgical procedure, thereby offering additional support for a concerning matter. This, I feel, is "above and beyond" exceptional performance that is unusual in the medical field. Overall, I am very impressed by Dr. Cooper and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. T. Dr Cooper is a fantastic plastic surgeon. He is attentive, and thorough. You can also see that he cares. The staff at his office are also great!

Dr. Cooper generates patient confidence, knowing you are in good, experienced hands. The results? For me, everything I hoped for. Hard to ask for more than that.

I have been a patient of Dr Cooper’s for over 20 years and am so sorry that I can no longer go him because of my insurance. He has always been a very caring person, has a great bedside manner, I have like him from my very first visit. I’m sad to have to lose him as my Dr. Because of my insurance, I would recommend him to anyone, he is a great person and Doctor. I've been seeing someone from DOS for almost 2 3/4 years and they've always been friendly and paid attention to all of my concerns and Dr. COOPER kept an eye in me ti be sure i didn't lose my leg. I've seen Dr. Principe for 4 surgeries as well and they have been more than vital to my recollection. I'll be seeing Dr Ward as well soon for another surgery. I'd recommend this practice above all others

Dr. Cooper is a skilled experienced surgeon who has provided excellent care for an uncommon injury and is committed to helping me on the stages of this journey. He does not rush through the appointments, fields any questions or concerns I may have with clear explanations and a good bedside manner. I trust that I am getting the best possible care.

Earlier this year, I decided that I wanted to get liposuction on my abdomen and Dr. Cooper was the first surgeon I consulted with. I remember his very kind demeanor and I don’t know if I can ever forgive myself for not going with him especially because the surgeon I went with has devastated me with poor results and humiliated me on top of everything. I am going back to consult with Dr. Cooper to see if he is able and willing to fix me. I am praying hard that this consultation goes well and I can finally be under a skilled surgeon who also cares about his patients.

I had a breast reduction with liposuction and had an overall great experience. From the consultation, to the surgery, to the recovery and post-op appointments, Dr. Cooper and his staff were wonderful. I appreciate his honesty, bedside manner, and compassion. If I ever want or need future services, I will return to Dr. Cooper.

I feel Dr Cooper is an excellent surgeon and has the best bedside manner I have ever encountered! He is a truly compassionate man and cares about his patients! I highly recommend him and will refer friends and family to him!

Let me first say Dr Cooper has a great bedtime manner but this is a procedure review. I had a breast reduction in May 2018. If I knew my breasts would look so different I'd gone to GA or LA to have my reduction. My aureolas are too small and have lost a lot of pigment. He said he'd take my scar back a little further to pull in some loose skin I had hanging from my armpit. That didn't happen. When I stated my concerns during a post-op visit his Assistant said the breasts are sisters not twins. I took that as a comment you make when you screw up. I am now waiting to build up vacation to go out of state to have revision surgery.

Dr Cooper recently removed an infected implant that followed reconstruction done by another doctor out of state. Not only was he courteous and professional, he didn’t treat me any different than if I were his patient from the beginning. He cleaned up another surgeons mistake and I can’t thank him and his staff enough for the prompt scheduling of my surgery and the aftercare I received. Also, the morning if surgery his calming demeanor was perfect after what I’d be through previously. He has followed me much closer than I had expected with seeing me every week since surgery. I would not hesitate to schedule with him, in fact, I’m so confident in his ability that he is going to be the surgeon who gives my reconstruction another go. I have no doubt we will be successful. Ten years ago I knew I was not happy with my body. It didn't match. I made an appointment with Dr. Cooper and after answering all his questions he did my breast surgery. He was up front and told me that had I answered any of the questions wrong he would not have done my surgery. But I was honest and upfront with him. Any other doctor would have probably just done it and not cared as much as he did. Thank you Dr. Cooper!

Dr. Cooper performed a"flap" surgery on my mother 3 months ago to close an extremely large wound on her backside. Today, except for the small line, you cannot even tell that she had this huge open wound just several weeks ago. He did an awesome job. Thank You!
