I have had to have four back surgeries. The first one was done by a surgeon in Springfield Mo. The next three by Dr. White. The second one by Dr White did not work but he warned me that it might not. The next one was a fusion and did the trick. I have been mostly pain free and live a very active life. I am so thankful for a good surgeon. Dr White has been great to work with in every respect. A fine doctor and a fine human being.

He changed my lifestyle. I can no longer walk without a walker. He left a screw on my L5 nerve which cause foot drop. He mashed the iliac nerve causing another surgery with a different doctor.

Very through and caring. Took the time to explain all the options. I am very satisfied.

Dr. White is a highly experienced neurosurgeon. He explained the problem and gave us all the possible solutions. In my case, a massive disc rupture, he performed a surgery and I I am very happy with the result . I definitely recommend him.

On my appointment for my future back surgery, he was very professional and took extra time to explain to me about why he was recommending my surgery and reviewed my MRI with me and explained everything in detail and took special care to see that I understood his explanation about the MRI and on the need for surgery and was genuinely concerned about me and my future surgery. He was also dressed very professional. He made me very confident in his skillls and knowledge about my back surgery

Three months ago Dr. White performed a gill and fusion at L5-S1 due to severe sciatica caused by Spondylolisthesis. After three months I can report that my old pain is completely gone. Physical activity and exercise is very important to me. After only 3 months I can work out pretty well, more than I expected at this early date. I have regained about 80% of my considerable flexibility and I don't experience any pain doing hard cardio or light lifting. Although Dr. White might not have the delicate bedside manners of some of his colleagues, he is the best (and only) neurosurgeon who ever operated on my spine. I am so glad I had the operation!

I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. White. He was absolutely the best in every regard. My surgery was totally successful and my experience before, during, and following surgery was all excellent.

I had back surgery in 2009 with Dr. White as my surgeon. I came from out of town and wasn't sure what to expect when I first came to him. Much to my amazement he thoroughly explained what was wrong and actually took the time to show me on the MRI. I'm so thankful that someone told me about him as I had received an incorrect MRI report. He took care of my problem and stayed with me all the way through to recovery. I highly recommend this doctor!

Doesn't act like he cares much, kinda half listened. Treated me like yeah yeah heard it before. I've not had my issue before so is not routine to me and don't want to be treated like it is.

Make him take time to explain any issues you have. He runs you through like a pig at a sale barn. Doesn't seem to care if you get back to your "normal" life routine or not and that is important to me.
