Dr. Boqing Chen, MD

Does not know enough about face/neck neuromuscular issues, like they claimed when I called in advance..maybe to get me in the office. Relies on residents to diagnose you. Umm..I made an appointment with the doctor, not these residents who knew nothing about what I was talking about. Then he comes in, barely spent any time, and made an incorrect diagnosis which scared me..left me in tears. Thank goodness he wasn't correct. How can you do this to a patient? No warmth at all! Do not go here. There are plenty of other pain management places and other types of doctors/facilities to go to. It's amazing how awful this experience was.

I was about to go surgery due L5-S1 disk herniation, pain was unbearable, no sleep. first I got epidural to temporarily relieve pain. Luckily I got treatment here and my Pain is relieved with physical therapy. It’s been more than a year I got treatment and still running strong. Definitely recommend Dr. Chen’s clinic anytime for getting back control of your body.

A female doctor asked me about my conditions. And then Dr. Chen showed up for two minutes, mostly to teacher the female doctor. I guess she was resident, not a doctor yet. I don't feel like I was a patient there more like a teaching example.

I have been having back problem for quite a while. Since Lisa became my massage therapist, my back improved a lot. Not only she did a good job on me, but she taught me many things in how to heal by myself. She gave me a lot of confidence.

Staff are very good. Lisa is especially good in massage.

they do great job. Everybody is very nice and polite. My husband had a lot left elbow pain and received an injection from Dr. Chen with 90% pain relive. He is very happy

Great place and professional staff

Dr. Chen and his Physical Therapy staff are very professional and kind. They care about patients as they would their own families. Recently I went to Dr. Chen for pain from sciatica. His staff provided acupuncture and deep massage. They also trained me in exercises to reduce my pain and improve my flexibility. After several sessions with them, I have improved greatly. Even if I need to wait in the office for a while before receiving treatment, it is well worth the wait for quality attention. Thanks Dr. Chen and his staffs. I am highly recommend this doctor to any one who is looking for a Pain management doctor.

Dr. Chen and his staff were wonderful and friendly. My husband and I both had herniated discs and received treatments from Dr. Chen to relieve pains and maintain spline posture for years. We are still able to actively pursue exercises, play golf and enjoy life. Thanks to his care and diagnosis.

I had an onset of disc herniation in mid Nov which inhibited me from going to work normally in the City. I was bewildered with pain and anxiety. Dr. Chen and his master crew are in fact my saving grace. I was treated with ultra care and kindness throughout my MRI diagnosis, acupuncture, physical therapy, and post treatment exercises. My acute pain and severe discomfort dimmed visit by visit, my mobility and agility improved day after day. I kind of look forward to visiting the center as I know I am in capable and caring hands. I am encouraged to rethink my habits by incorporating the appropriate body mechanics into my daily life and was inspired to live a healthy life through diet and consistent exercise despite all the demands from work and family.

I visited Dr. Chen for 4-5 times for recent years and I was treated very well. Eg. 1) I twisted my ankle and the pain bothered me half a year. After 3 times therapies I got off the pain.2) I got my thumb joint hurt and he fixed it just for one time visiting. 3) With 4 times physical therapies by his therapist I got off the pain of Disc herniation. Moreover his team taught you how to do exercises for recovery, very effective.

Physical theraphy stuff are generally very kind, and communicates well. They care about patients' pain. Their skills are effective. Doctor himself is not as right to the point as claimed by his credentials.

I am fortunate enough to get in touch with Dr. Chen, regarding the treatment of my spinal-pain. He is talented & courteous & handled my situation with the utmost patience & sincerity. Glad to have found a pain specialist, who's worthy enough of every possible praise. Cheers!

Doctor's, like everyone else, learn new things on the job. I had a very rare condition affecting my wrist, which they were able to diagnose, and treat, although they previously had not done so. As with any injury, surgery is always the last option, and I, much like the doctor, was willing to try all means up surgery, including shots, acupuncture, massages, medications and gels. It was a great experience working with the team of doctors and staff. Highly recommended.

I called this office because it was close to my home. the admin who answered the phone was awful, had no idea what she was doing. I then went online to this site to see other reviews and saw how bad they were. I just went to cancel my apt, and they didn't even have the appointment set(I spoke to the same woman) don't know anything about DR, but his office staff is poor

I booked appointment and specifically requested the doctor I book my appointment for. BUT when I show up, they simply said the doctor is not here today, you have to see his partner - who is terrible and is just a residence i think. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME WHEN I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT. also, the office is poorly run, they delayed my MRI appointment because they're a mess. I had to call my insurance company to follow up. Because I follow up with them at least 5 times and was told some one will call me back, but NO ONE DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ISN'T THAT THEIR JOB? DOCTOR IS ALWAYS IN A RUSH AS THEY BOOK MORE THAN THEY SHOULD

They tell u other Dr.s did the procedure cause they don't want the ones in training to get in trouble.
