Dr. Brendan William Bauer, MD

I haven’t met the doctor yet but three stars are for the office staff who rarely answers the phone and doesn’t return phone calls.

I will continue to drive an hour and a half to Dr. Bauer's location in Sheffield.

Falsely diagnosed me with Parkinson's

This is the most friendly and caring doctor, he listens to what's being said and tries to narrow things down until the problem is figured out. He has been a godsend to me

He went beyond what most providers would do to solve my problem - he literally saved my life. He cares.

I have been seeing Dr. Bauer for 4 years completly satisfied with him as a Dr. he takes his time with you and listens to all your problems. I like his staff, have had a few issues getting in contact with any issues I do not like their phone messaging system sometimes I get a response to my complaint right away and sometimes I never fet a return call.

Dr. Bauer saved my life. He has went above and beyond to help me get through some very rough times. He has helped me with my chronic pain and my personal problems as well. I owe the Dr. Something that I can never repay in full. I care for the Dr. Very much. Thank you to him and the staff for everything.

Who is the manager of this place. They sure are not doing such a great job. Great doctor...that's about all that is great

Hands down the most intelligent Doctor I have ever seen. If you meet his Father, you will see where he gets it from. They are like two best friends and that speaks volumes because they each respect the others intelligence and are a brilliant team.s

His staff is amazing......very hard working. Dr bauer and jen make an amazing team and try to every end to take care of the patients. I feel as if they know me I'm not just another number. I feel as if I'm visiting with people that know me. Those 2 are an amazing team. Everyone in that office is overworked we can hold Healthcare Reform responsible. Keep it up. You to are an amazing team with our needs first.

This is a great doctor!!! He will work with you, listen yo you and do everything he knows to do for you! I am very lucky yo be a patient of Dr. Bauer. Unfortunately it is very difficult to get a live person when calling the office. It's discouraging to know the dr. Is a hard working physician while the staff is either over worked or the opposite. Kudos to Dr. Bauer for making me feel like a person and not just a paycheck!!:))

I had been to 2 other specialists & the last one I saw was at The Cleveland Clinic & he had tried to help what I thought & had been told were migraine headaches for 10 years. The doctor at the Clinic told me that I lived closer to Dr Bauer & he felt that he & Dr Benedict were among the best physicians who had trained there. Dr Bauer immediately pointed out to me that my headaches were always on my left side& never even once affected my right side. He pointed out that only a few headaches are "locked" to one side of the head. He told me that I had a rare type of headache called Paroxysmal Hemicrania & not migraine as I had been treated for for 10 years. In 1 week on Indomethicin my 10 year headache went away. I was frustrated that I had to wait so long and he was so nice saying that these headaches occur in less than 2 % of headache patients & he said I can't fault other doctors for not diagnosing this. It is frustrating but I am so grateful to have 10 years of headaches gone. He spends so much time with his patients that his nurses have to drag him out of the rooms. Their staff is so overworked at times and they never show it. Your visit is always about you the patient. Love this doctor & staff, they are dedicated individuals that go the extra mile, where many others just give up.

Wonderful and knowledgeable doctor. His staff in addition to himself make me feel like a individual not another patient. Dr Bauer and Jen as well as front staff are friendly , genuine and can tell they care.

I have been a long time patient of Dr Bauer, and its to bad there are disgruntaled patients like the 2 that had nothing nice to say. Dr Bauer is a wonderful doctor who is willing to go to any measures to take care of his patients, and Jen his nurse she is beyond wonderful I love them both. I have received phone calls from Jen on the weekends as well as from her personal phone so she can be sure to relay vital information to me. They are a great team and I would recommend these 2 to anyone if they asked. The compassion and caring is off the charts. Who everyone should be bitter toward is the healthcare reform and thanks to that we are left with great people who are drowning in a system that is corrupts. Dr Bauer and Jen if you see this keep up the great work!!!!!!

This Dr Has a photographic memory and he remembers everything I have told him or that has happened to me, even things I may have forgot. He has found things that other doctors would have never even thought of. It may take months to see him but don't see his other partners other than his dad, their wait time is much less for a reason

Dr. Brendan Bauer is the most down to earth Dr. I have ever encountered. He is a amazing Dr. and human being. He listen's to your every word and talks with you, he cares. Dr. Bauer I can not thank you enough for all you have done for me and still do!!!!!..THANK YOU!!!!

Dr. Brendan Bauer is both professional and caring. I sought Dr. Bauer after experiencing terrible pain due to a pinched nerve in my back. Dr. Bauer not only saw me promptly at my appointments but also took a lot of time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions. Dr. Bauer has excellent bedside manner and presents as extremely approachable, while highly knowledgeable. I was very at ease while meeting with Dr. Bauer. Because of Dr. Bauer's professionalism and expertise, I found relief and answers. I am so very thankful and would without question or hesitation recommend Dr. Brendan Bauer to others.

I really love Dr. Bauer. He has a wonderful bedside manner and always seems to know the questions I have even before I ask them. I feel very secure in his care. I really appreciate the way he seems to be able to diagnose and treat my many medical issues. He always makes me feel like he really cares. He is an asset to his profession. My only regret is that I can't get him to relocate for when my husband retires.
