Dr. Brent J Hurd, DO

He pushed for and gave no options but a completely unnecessary early induction againsy my will or wishes based off of a 2 minute ultrasound, which he never did or looked at with me himself, explained, and which ended up being wrong! Ultrasound showed just over 3 lbs at 36 wks, ended up being born at 5.9! All other stats were absolutely perfect, not a single issue all pregnancy. My baby ended having to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks because of jaundice and temp issues, solely due to the early induction. He never did a repeat ultrasound, never presented it as a choice, and earlier in my pregnancy asked multiple times if Id like to ibe induced. Nothing ended up being abnormal about my placenta or baby. And he was very late to the delivery as well. Terrible doctor.

Dr. Hurd was great in the deliverance of both my children. Hes funny and maked you feel ad comfortable as possible. He has a great since of humor. Highly recommend Dr. Brent Hurd.

Dr.Hurd is an extremely knowledgeable physician and his bed side manner speaks volumes when it comes to caring for his patients! I don’t know of any other doctor that would go out of his way to take the additional time I required to answer all of my concerns during my pregnancy! I would highly recommend Dr. Hurd to anyone who is seeking a physician who accelerates at every aspect of what a true doctor should be. He is a true gift to his profession!

If I could give Dr. Hurd a 10 star, I would. He took extremely good care of me. I had a very serious complication after my c section and he made sure I was taken care of. I had a pulmonary embolism which is very deadly. After I had healed from that, I would have bad anxiety which I would end up in the ER so scared thinking I had a PE again, some of the drs I seen in the Er didn’t understand why I was so scared, and made me feel as if I was in the wrong for getting checked out. Dr. Hurd understood and told me to start calling his office to get checked out if I ever felt that way again. He took great care of me during my pregnancy as well. He’s a great doctor. My husband actually enjoyed going to my dr. Appointments because of Dr. hurd! He has the best personality and very down to earth. He doesn’t rush you either. I highly recommend him!

In this age of quick 3 minute exams, dr Hurd stands out as an intelligent, caring physician. I am in the health care profession and recommend him any chance I get.

This doc has no manners, put the wrong diagnosis a few times and also did a poor job following up after the visit. He acted like he was high

Dr. Hurd has been very carrying and reliable whenever i have seen him. He preformed my hysterectomy and took very good care of me before and after the surgery. He is very straight forward with me and takes the time to explain anything i might have questions about. His staff has always been very nice and helpful to me. I continue to see him for my care and will recommend him to friends.

Everyone in our area keeps talking about how wonderful this doctor is. He may be for some but DO NOT use this doctor if you have any chance of a high risk pregnancy. He had no idea how to treat me with the issues I had come up during my pregnancy. He kept having to go to the other more experienced and knowledgeable doctors within the practice to ask them how to handle my situations. At the end of my pregnancy this nearly cost me my baby's life!! I had a issue to arise when I was 37 weeks and he had no one there to ask an "opinion" about my issue and he made a very wrong decision. We made it through our c-section, but it took him 40 minutes to deliver my baby. The baby ended up being transferred to the NICU. We were told at the NICU that is I had stayed pregnant for even one more day that the outcome with my baby would have been a tragic one. Thank goodness for a nurse practitioner that pushed this doctor into going ahead with my c-section as this doctor wanted me to go for two more weeks even though I was already showing signs of extreme HTN and way too much swelling and fluid, I had gained 13 pounds in 6 days and he still wanted to wait 2 more weeks!!!! He is just a complete moron! Since I'm on this soapbox I might as well add that his nurses at the office were horrible! It was to the point that I didn't even want to ask them for anything because they acted like it was just too much of an inconvenience to ask anything extra of them beyond taking a BP!! I just had a horrible experience with this doctor all around and honestly would not recommend him to anyone. I know I will not be using him with my next pregnancy!!
