Dr. Brent Andrew Ponce, MD

I recommend Hughston clinic in Vidalia Georgia. The office itself is a very clean and organized the staff extremely friendly polite and answers any and all questions you have. Dr. Ponce the surgeon actually took time and explained everything on my MRI and cared about my pain and injury instead of caring about how quickly he could get me into surgery. He was a second opinion visit but ended my surgeon of choice.

Dr Ponce and all of his staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous and eager to help!

Dr. Ponce was great. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answer them. He was very pleasant. That is a trait I've found missing from other specialists I've seen recently. It was not difficult to get an appointment. That is another facet I found amazing.

3 orthopedic surgeons at another hospital told me that it was too late to reconnect my torn bicep tendon. Dr. Ponce did an extensive exam. He told me that there was a very good chance he could reconnect the tendon. Well, he did! I was thrilled! He and his staff were very professional and treated me with respect and genuine care. I actually work at the other hospital I mentioned. If I have any further orthopedic problems you can bet I will make an appointment with Dr. Ponce! If it can be fixed, "HE" can fix it! PS He spent much time answering my many questions and did not rush off like most doctors are known to do.

Dr. Ponce is one of the best orthopedic doctors in Birmingham. If you have shoulder problems, the top two are Dr Andrews and D.r Ponce, and while Dr. Ponce doesn't treat the pro athletes, he has an amazing bedside manner. I wouldn't go to anybody else in BHM

Dr.Ponce scoped both my knees 2 years ago. About 8 months ago they started giving me problems again. I would not use another doctor. He told me of some things that could show back up and he was right. I will be letting him work on them again. We are trying to put off total knee replacement as long as possible. I am only 51 but have played and worked hard. He is a great doctor.
