A friend who herself is a breast cancer survivor recommended me to Dr. Taback for a second opinion, and I never went back to my original surgeon. Heâ??s very knowledgeable, stays on top of the latest developments in his field and communicates them clearly to his patients. What I appreciate most about Dr. Taback was that he was caring but honest. Rather than strong-arm me into a particular kind of treatment, he offered me options, detailing the pros and cons of each. For someone who had never been hospitalized for anything never mind facing a life-threatening illness, it was important to me that I be given as much information as possible and have my treatment choices respected. From my first appointment, I felt like a survivor and not just a patient. Dr. Taback also referred me to my plastic surgeon Dr. Ascherman whoâ??s top-notch. And his staff? Theyâ??re the icing on the cake, every single one of them. Iâ??d recommend him to any one needing surgery in the wake of cancer diagnosis without a second thought .

I have read all the reviews on Dr. Taback & all we can really say is that he & his staff were wonderful. My husband received the best care and we were truly put at ease, even received a follow up call a day or two after the operation from the doc himself.

Dr. Taback should have a better follow up of his patients who undergoe IL-2 treament. Dr. Taback does not follow up as needed and does not treat all patient's problems while the patient is in between IL-2 treatments, i.e. appropriate pain management.

He is really very smart and high professional person,whom I can reccomend to others.I am very satisfied with his service and thankful him for saving my life

BEFORE YOU GET TO DR.TABACK, YOU GET A MAMMOGRAM. THEN YOU ARE IDENTIFIED WITH A PROBLEM. THEN I SAW DR. DESPIRETO, WHO DID A CYST ASPIRATION. IT DID NOT POP. THEN I CAME BACK, AND DR. PIEL-SPELLMAN ASPIRATED "THE STUFF" AND DR. HANNA, THE PATHOLOGIST, WAS THERE AND MADE SLIDES ON THE SPOT. BY THE TIME I SAW DR. TABACK, IT WAS A FOREGONE CONCLUSION THAT I WOULD BE HAVING A LUMPECTOMY. I CAME BACK ABOUT TWO WEEKS LATER AND DR.TABACK REMOVED THE LUMP. I WENT BACK 8 DAYS LATER, SO HE COULD EXAMINE THE WOUND. I FELT SO GOOD, THAT THE DAY BEFORE I SAW HIM, I WENT FOR A 2-HOUR RUN IN THE PARK. AFTER A FEW MONTHS, THE SCAR DISAPPEARED. I SHOWED IT TO A FEW PEOPLE, INCLUDING GUYS-- SO THEY WOULD TELL THEIR WIFE OR GIRLFRIEND OR DAUGHTER NOT TO BE AFRAID, AND IT MAY NOT BE DISFIGURING. I FEEL GREAT TO KNOW THAT STUFF IS NOT INSIDE ME-- ALTHOUGH, I WILL ALWAYS HAVE TO BE CAREFUL TO GET MY MAMMOGRAM. IT MAY SHOW UP AGAIN.
