Dr. Brian Dees, MD

I have had two procedures done by Dr. Dees. Excellent doctor. Great communication.

Dr Dees took my breast cancer case when I had to fire my other surgeon. He was considerate of my specific needs and concerns and never once let me feel like anything was beneath him to answer or consider. He did an excellent job, and all of the follow up pathology was done in a timely manner, with the results coming back explained and reviewed so that I could understand everything. I recommend him to anyone - including members of my family who he has also helped. I could not be more thankful that my other Dr forced me to find another surgeon. Dr Dees was exactly what we needed.

Has the WORST bedside manners EVER!! Not sure how Essentia even allows him to continue to work for them. Says something about Essentia. They should offer a class to their providers on how to treat patients with respect.

The only reason he has a star is because it wouldn't allow me to keep it blank. He is an awful, awful doctor!!! He is rude, inconsiderate, and has no bedside manner. Do not recommend him to your enemy.

Dr . Brian Dee's operated on me in 2009. He performed a lumpectomy for breast cancer. A week later he performed the lumpectomy again because he didn't send my tissue to lab while I was on the table. This is standard. A week after that he did a 3rd lumpectomy. Same reason. His surgical nurse was shocked when I showed up a third time. When I asked why my tissue was not frozen while I was opened up, Dr Dee's replied, "I forgot", twice. I eventually needed a mastectomy. He did not perform that, thank God. My entire experience with Dr Dee's was horrific. RUN RUN RUN from this doctor. He is not following basic basic protocol, the result being 3/full blown surgeries vs 1. He is a complete sorry excuse for a doctor. He will deal with consequences.

Dr. Dees is an excellent surgeon. He is also very professional, courteous and caring. I had no complications after my surgery and I credit that to Dr, Dees and his excellence as a surgeon.

Phenomonal surgeon, even for a hernia surgery, not much pain or discomfort. Great man, he is caring and kind. Also, my scar is so short and thin you can barely see it. All my buddies that had the same surgery saw the scar and how well I was moving and said they wished they would have had him do it.
