Don’t bother. I’m a chronic illness patient (retired ballerina) whose been in and out of physical therapy for years. And I’m not a new patient of his, but now I’m never going back. His rudeness and judgmental demeanor finally pushed me over the edge. He doesn’t bother looking at your chart. He talks to you like you're an inconvenience and makes it clear that your expectations should be low. The only reason I gave him that extra star was because ONCE he put me in touch with a great physical therapist. So the best thing he ever did for me? He sent me somewhere else.

I experienced a significant injury to my leg and knee. Dr. Grawe performed surgery and the results have been amazing. I am now largely recovered and returning to a "normal" life. Thank you Dr. Grawe

I was treated for 10 months before I was referred to Dr Grawe with a Rotator cuff tear. He did a great job explaining my options, and providing a plan of care for me. I followed his instructions and I am now 7 months post op. I am mostly pain free. Dr Grawe explained, listened, educated and returned me to my complicated life.

I am beyond amazed at the caliber of this man’s skill, knowledge, character, compassion, and ‘get-it-done’ proactive attitude in getting the patient from injured to well again in the best possible way ASAP. Dr. Brian Grawe has done with my knee what several other ‘top’ orthopedic surgeons could not or would not diagnose and fix. I am so grateful that my research and determination led me to him in Cincinnati. He is honest, kind, and most importantly- QUALIFIED! Like top of the top orthopedic surgeons in the whole US. I went to Dr. Grawe on a recommendation from one of his patients that is a friend of mine. I could not be more happy with the process and the outcome of my shoulder surgery. I had dealt with shoulder pain for many years due to college sports. I am 6 mos. post labral repair and bicep tenodesis, and I feel the best I have in a LONG time. Dr. Grawe won't force you into surgery, he listens to you, and I truly trusted every decision he made. If you are suffering from shoulder pain, get an appt. ASAP. You will not regret it!

Three months ago Dr. Grawe repaired a massive rotator cuff tear in my right shoulder. He adapted my rehab plan to account for the size of the tear, and has followed me closely. I have already tecommended Dr. Grawe to friends.

Dr. Grawe did what I thought was impossible, he fixed me. I had experienced a misdiagnosis by a different surgical practice and was skeptical that anyone would actually listen to me. Dr. Grawe did listen and even better - he fixed me. He surgically repaired my elbow and shoulder and after a year, I am 75% back to being whole and fully expect to be 100% in the next 3-4 months. Dr. Grawe was confident he could repair my issues and was equally confident that, as long as I was patient and would follow my recovery plan, I would recover and ...he was right. I highly recommend Dr. Grawe.

Dr. Grawe was professional, thorough and informative in pre-op consultations. The rotator cuff surgery (laparoscopic) went very well with clearly excellent repair of the joint based on the pictures of the reconstruction itself that I was given. I had amazingly little post-operative pain and am weeks ahead of schedule on my rehab. I actually could, now, give Dr. Grawe a high five with that hand!

Our daughter tore her ACL and meniscus and in less than a year had three surgeries with two different orthopedic surgeons. Only Dr. Grawe was able to identify the problem and fix it. He took the time to answer all of our questions and was truly sympathetic to our 17 year old daughter's situation. Dr. Grawe also mapped out a physical therapy plan and subsequent strength building program for her. We feel that he took on a more hands on approach than the other two doctors and the results have been amazing. If you feel frustrated by the level of care you currently are receiving, aren't getting the results that you want, or feel like you are just another patient in a doctor mill, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Dr. Grawe.

Dr. Grawe and his staff are exceptional! My knee surgery went very well and recovery was painless. Expected the worst and received the best.

The whole experience from initial diagnosis, through options for treatment, anticipated outcome and post operative recuperation and therapy were clearly defined to help me in making my decision to proceed with a surgical fix. The end result was a procedure that has eliminated the significantly reduced arthritic shoulder pain and regained a good portion of mobility. Dr. Grawe's surgical skills and followup care are very much appreciated. I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering from the same condition.

Since he did arthroscopy of my right rotator cuff, I can finally sleep at night. One thing I really like is that he remembers that my daughters were present when I had the surgery, and he always asks about them when I see him for follow-up visits. I could not be more pleased with Dr. Grawe.

I went to Dr Grawe for a second opinion from a knee surgery and right away was pleased. He answered all of questions and concerns. He ordered new MRI and cat scan images and X-rays to be able to get a better idea of what is going on. My other doctor who did the surgery had not given me any options or answers as to what was going on and I couldn't take just stay off it as an answer any longer. So far very pleased with Dr Grawe.
