I was impressed the appointment was on time in every way, the nurse,the X-ray, the doctor.

Waited 5 only minutes. He was familiar with my health history, explained the procedure well, answered all my questions thoroughly, and I was done and out the door. Exactly what I needed.

Dr. Lohrbach is wonderful and handled my problems in an exemplary fashion. Would and have recommended him to many.

Dr. Lohrbach was absolutely phenomenal.

He is friendly enough, but he doesn't seem to really listen when you're telling him about your problem. He insists that my problem is my kneecap, but my pain goes from my hip all the way down to my ankle, so I believe it's more than just my kneecap.

I was very pleased with my visit with Dr. Lohrbach. He was very thorough in explaining my situation. I felt comfortable and his staff was very friendly and supportive.

While there had been major progress in joint implants at the time of my bilateral knee replacement, Dr. Lohrbach chose to use joint hardware that's been around for FORTY YEARS according to my 2nd opinion. It's 4 years later and I'm in constant pain with a range of motion limited to barely 90 degrees in both knees. Dr. Lohrbach is a HACK with the bedside manner of a party clown.

I will always return to him and recently my Husband had a knee replaced by him also. He is amazing and has incredible bedside manner.

I almost lost my foot due to his incompetence! Very arrogant! He took no responsibility and tried to blame me! Hardware he implanted came apart 3 different times and had to be redone in four different surgeries. He dismissed me as his patient months later and I wasn't able to walk and left in a wheelchair. I finally found a wonderful doctor in Madison and I am now healed and walking!

I am very pleased with the results after my total hip replacement. I am five months out and am dancing, squatting, kneeling and moving my hip like I hadn't in a decade. Thank you Dr. Lohrbach!

I had my knee replaced by Dr. Lohrbach. During rehab I had a fever and told him something was wrong. He would listen to me and I ended up in ER same day with infection and spent a week in the hospital. After that he never checked to see if the infection was gone. I went back to him 5 times complaining of pain and told him something wasn't right. He just kept giving me different pain meds every visit. 6 months later I went to another doctor and was rushed into surgery because I had a severe infection. Now I sit with no knee for 3 months and on IV antibiotics daily. Have to wait until infection is gone before I can again go into surgery for another knee. I WOULDN'T SENT MY DOG TO HIM. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I had a choice of a well known and respected orthopedic doctor ten minutes from my home or Dr. Lohrbach who was forty-five minutes away. I saw both doctors and choose Dr. Lohrbach. The first doctor would not use the latest anterior hip replacement approach. After only two weeks I am walking with only a cane and zero restrictions. Pain has been minimal and I have been only taking Tylenol. Do your research homework like I did and then make an informed decision. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lohrbach to anyone. A total professional.

I had four surgeries with Dr. Lohrbach due to a broken ankle. All four surgeries failed and I even contracted a severe staph infection in the ankle bone which totally destroyed the joint. After this, Dr. Lohrbach told me there was nothing more he could do for me. I was released from his care unable to walk at all due to my foot being completely deformed from all of the bad surgeries and infection. I finally went to Madison and had a 5th surgery and had my ankle fused. I can now walk with severe limitation after over 14 months since the injury happened. I would never recommend Dr. Lohrbach to ANYONE!

This guy was one of the first to not look at me like I am "young and capable" He validated my concern for my sluggish health problems and encouraged treatment to help me function better. He didn't jump to the knife and explored options that ...I wish would have worked...but when they didn't and it was time for surgery I was confident that I had done all I could do as far as non invasive and the end result was a fixed shoulder (bone spur removal) and some cortizone shots in my hips from a bad labor and fibromyalgia. I also have the option of great physical therapy for strengthening...all in all not a bad guy, and as far as the money guy in on this review...your review says it all...if your not even adult enough to explain the situation with respect and details I bet you didn't even have the patience to be a good patient in the office.

I've had 4 surgeries with Dr. Lohrbach and every time i went in the staff and him were very profesonal and nice. They took time to explain everything and answer any ?'s i had. I Would recomend any one to go see him.

That's what this "doctor" sees - just a walking or rather hobbling dollar sign. Stray far from him if you are in need of an orthopedic surgeon. Save time, money, and frustration and go somewhere else!
