Dr. Comisar is such a good surgeon and Dr. Some surgeons just do the surgery and are done with you! Not Dr. Comisar. He works with you to provide the best outcome that you wish to have. Never makes you feel bad because the results are not necessarily as good as you had hoped. Suggests other options or things that get you to those results you would like. Makes no promises for things that he can’t control but tells you what he would expect to happen. This is my second shoulder surgery. One on each shoulder. Both surgeries were due to 2 different kinds of accidents. 6 years apart. One an auto accident the other a fall. I have complete use of the first shoulder after surgery and physical therapy. The second shoulder may not be completely healed yet but at this point is not completely functional. But I am now 71 so that might be a factor and the injury I believe might be worse. No matter what Dr. Comisar has been an encouragement and is always willing to listen and help me to decide the next best decision for my recovery. Thank you Dr. Comisar

Dr Comisar performed rotator cuff surgery on both of my shoulders, one year apart. This was about 8-9 years ago, respectively. He was wonderful and I’m happy to say that I enjoy full motion in both shoulders, have had no problems at all!
