Dr Johnson is a very good surgeon. Very easy to talk with and doesn't rush you in and out.

Had spinal fusion and was surprised as to the quick results. He is a caring and compassionate physician.

After meeting with Dr. Johnson, discussing my back issues and going over my MRI, I felt assured he was the right doctor to do my surgery. He listened carefully, explained thoroughly what needed to be fixed in my back and how he would do the surgery. It's been 3 months since surgery and I feel like a new person! Dr. Johnson performed a minimally invasive surgery and I was back to swing dancing at 11 weeks post-surgery! The constant pain in my low back and hip and the sciatica pain are all gone! I'm 71 and have a new lease on life!

Doctor Johnson was excellent from my 1st visit to my post op visit. I Highly recommend him as he was a complete professional through and through. He also performed a perfect surgical procedure as I am 100% pain free after an L4/L5 Microdiscectomy.

I had severe hip, thigh and knee pain for 5 months. I saw specialist with no results. Finally made appointment with Dr. Bryce Johnson. After looking at MRI he suggested surgery to repair disc. After surgery 95 percent of my pain was gone. After 6 weeks, I have no restrictions and can do what I want...NO PAIN. I would rate Dr. B Johnson a FIVE STAR PLUS.

Worst ever...everyone that works there

I highly recommend Dr. Bryce A. Johnson to anyone suffering from back pain. I was in excruciating pain with numbness and tingling shooting from my right buttock all the way to my toes besides lower back pain. I chose to go with a conservative approach with spinal epidurals and PT with a chiropractic Doctor initially who was also very good on the right track. I had only some relief and after further testing it was determined I had serious nerve damage and it was recommended I get consults from an orthopedic and neuron surgeon. I did both and after meeting with Dr. Johnson as well as having my other doctors assure me I was in good hands, I scheduled surgery. Dr. Johnson completely described the L5/S1 surgery answering all of my questions. His office staff is courteous, professional and organized. Dr. Johnson's PA, Tony Nguyen is awesome as well also explaining everything in detail. I was nervous about back surgery and now realize, I had nothing to worry about as I was in good hands. My surgery was a success and my pain is absolutely minimal. I gained feeling back on my right side almost immediately after surgery and recovery with PT going well feeling better each day. I am so thankful I went with Dr. Johnson. Since surgery, I have spoken with others who also speak very highly of him. Dr. Johnson also has a good bedside manner making you feel at ease. Many Thanks!

I got the triple-decker spinal fusion promptly Monday morning and was safely discharged Tuesday afternoon. Just doing the recovery thing now and following doctor's orders and rehab excercises. Dr. Johnson answered my detailed questions and ensured that I was fully informed every step of the way.

Dr. Johnson explained everything in detail to me and answered my millions of questions! My back surgery went perfectly. I am feeling better every day and I owe it all to Dr. Johnson. I can't thank him enough! :)

Dr. Johnson is very personable and easy to talk with. He is extremely knowledgable and answered any question I asked. He always had an answer, even if it was one I didn't like, as in how long would recovery take. No matter what section of the procedure, from before surgery to coming in after I woke up from surgery to 3 months post surgery, he was always very upbeat and willing to discuss any thing that I may ask about my condition and how the surgery helped or didn't help. It did in fact help, I have none of the severe pain that I had before the surgery. I actually grew a couple of inches as I can again stand up straight, which I hadn't been able to do for years. Although I'm still in the recovery phase, not totally with out some aches, the surgery seems to have taken care of everything Dr. Johnson said it would. In my followup visits I am always seen by his physician's assistant to assess my recovery and answer questions I may have. Although the physician's assistant is very knowledgeable and has already taken care of everything, Dr. Johnson always comes in and talks with me spending as much time as I need. He is never in a hurry to move on to the next patient.

Dr. Johnson is a wonderful doctor. He performed (TLIF)Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody fusion. It is a Lumba minimally invasive approach. The procedure removed all the pain I experienced down into my left leg. (Siatic Nerve Pinch) He also has a great assistant PA-C Tony Nguyen.

I was barely moving from a herniated disc pressing on my sciatica nerve. Within three weeks Dr. Johnson had me walking out of surgery pain free and feeling better than I have in years.

When I first saw Dr Johnson I had been in pain for almost a year. I was having problems with my syatic and he was getting worse. Long story short after an mri surgery was my only option. I had a major surgery 5 hours long. Shortly after the surgery I was up and walking pain free. I can't say enough about Dr Johnson. I'm recovering quickly and hopefully in a month or two I will be back out on the golf course. The entire experience went smoothly. His staff was very accommodating and professional. Thank you all.

I chose Dr Johnson to perform C3/C4 & C5/C6 ACDF surgery on my cervical spine over a Neurosurgeon. Best decision I made. Prior to surgery, my SED rate was 60+ the pain througout my body was unbearable. Tingling in both arms, groin area numb, right shin was (still is but not as bad) numb. Since I was able to view film of my cervical spine prior to meeting with Dr J, I knew that surgery was the only resolution to my pain. First meeting with Dr J and his PA, Donald, made me very comfortable and anxious to have the surgery. Dr J reviewed the film and explained that he would have preferred to resolve my problem with other measures than surgery but I had no alternative. As I said, I viewed the film prior to meeting Dr J so I was anticipating his call. I am not a doctor but the film clearly showed the stenosis of my canal. Both Dr J and Donald followed up on my calls to the office with additional questions not only of the surgery but of SDI (insurance questions). I knew Dr J was the right Dr for me when he returned my call that evening and we talked for nearly 45 mins answering all my questions. Never did I feel being rushed to end the call. As for the surgery, the worst pain was in my throat as the Anesthesiologist (sp?) stuck a tube down my throat. Sucking on ice chips and ice cream for a couple days made the pain vanish. It is now 3 days post op and still have sporadic tingling in both arms (numbness in arms is gone and I anticipate tingling to pass as I heal). Sleeping is a bit uncomfortable with the neck brace but I seem to be getting used to it. I've been eating solid foods as the throat pain has vanished. Vicodine is a wonderful drug for now. I recommend anyone with potential ACDF surgery to check out Dr. J. Great personality and I seem to have my body getting back to normal. BTW, I am 59 and Dr J belives I'll be back on the Senior softball circuit within 6 to 8 months!!

I would echo the first impression of the person below. When I first met Dr Johnson, he looked young. However, he was very knowledgable about spine conditions and treatment. I liked the fact that he explained everything to me, and that, even though he is a surgeon, he did not "rush" to suggest surgery. Instead, gave me non-operative options to start with. When I did need surgery, it went great. I especially like the fact that at each appointment, he asked if I had any more questions before leaving. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Dr. Johnson is truly a professional!! He is young but has the maturity of a much older man. He is personable and very caring, knowledgeable and in every way a professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson for anyone with a spinal issue.

It was not worth going to this specialist. I received better care and assistance, more time, and much more compassion from my regular physician. What a loss of my time -- 1 1/2 hours waiting for a 10-minute appointment that did NOT help one bit.
