Dr. Carlos A. Neghme, MD

Was referred to this doctor. I won't go back. Rushed, no discussion. Doesn't want get to know you or your history. Looks at your vitals and blood work and barks out orders and direction. No compassion or care, just onto the next patient as fast as possible.

Dr Eghme is an excellent doctor. He is very professional and has great bedside manner. I highly recommend him. His staff is also very nice and professional.

Dr. Neghme has been my Gastroenterologist for over 15 years. His experience is long standing and I value his care.

I received excellent care by Dr. Negate and the staff at the clinic. He gave me great advice as to my eating habits and what I need to do .

The staff at Dr. Neghme's office are extremely dismissive and rude!! I have been a patient for many years, but haven't had to see the dr. in 3 years so I'm now a new patient, again. I called because of extreme pain but was told I'd have to have a phone visit in 3 weeks. I asked the dr's assistant or nurse, what she'd recommend in the meantime and she said she couldn't help me without seeing me. So, in 3 weeks, she'll talk to me on the phone and tell me again she can't help me without the dr seeing me and that could be several weeks away. I told her I'd go somewhere else and hung up. I called back to cancel my appt. in 3 weeks and the nasty lady already had. I'm 60 and don't understand why any doctor has such hateful, non-caring people working for him. I really like Dr. Neghme, but if he doesn't care why should I help his business.

I won’t go back to him. Never explained my problem just gave me meds. Never examined me, I felt so poorly, no compassion at all.......

Very disappointed with this so called doctor. He is uncaring, does not listen to your concerns, and does not really show any sympathy for his patients. Always in a hurry as if he is running away from you. He gives you medicine that will do nothing for you. I have not healed from my digestive issues and i have become disgusted his inability to help me heal. I have learned more from the internet than from what he advised me to do.

It was my first visit to this doctor and his staff gave me someone else's Clinical Summary. I didn't notice until I got home because the papers were folded. I wonder if my information was given to someone else? I think I will go someplace else. The doctor is not very friendly. I don't know if he is a good doctor or not since I just had a consultation. A lady came in and had an issue while I was in the waiting room. I am a little insecure right now about this office giving me good care. When I called and talked to a nurse about the paper I was given she was not friendly and she didn't say she was sorry that I received someone else's personal information. She just said to throw it away.

Terrible doctor who misdiagnoses, victimizes his patients and patronizes their lifestyle. Offers no actual treatment; I had to treat my problem myself as he refused to and rudely told me how I have to drastically change my lifestyle in a way that could harm me or bust. I would never ever believe or trust any medical advice from the physician. LEAST open-minded physician I've ever seen.

It is almost impossible to get a call back from Dr Neghme's office. He is an excellent doctor, with a great reputation from other physicians, but is very non responsive. I had an issue that required me to contact his office following an endoscopy and could not get his office to respond. Thankfully, it corrected itself.

Good bedside manner

I saw this man in the ER, Christus, Santa Rosa. He was incoherent and rude! I was in an emergency but I would NEVER chose to see this man again! I can not rate even one star for a rating for him.The one star is required.

I really hope people read these reviews before picking him as their doctor! I've had multiple problems with him and his inconsiderate staff in the past and today just tops them all! My 2 sons(4 and 8 months) and I arrived the 15 minutes early they told us to and when we walked in the waiting room was packed! Every person, even the ones who had walked in after me were seen before me, if they were not smart enough to book correctly then they should have told me to come back a different day!!! Finally an hour later we finally got called, no apology for the wait or any small talk! Then when he finally did come in he sat with me for like 5 minutes and basically walked out while I felt the conversation wasn't over. He literally walked out and went straight to his office to sit at his computer! He did not say thank you for waiting, have a good day, we're going to get your problem fixed anything! Doctors and their staff should not be allowed to treat people like that!!!! Completely unacceptable! I know nothing will be done or will change but if I can save one person from going thru what I have then it would have been worth it!!!!! And by the way my sons did very well for having had to sit there for so long

NO bedside manner and he will not call you back he has the nurse call you even at the hospital he does not have time for you. Please check him out completely before letting him treat you or a loved one. I wish I would have checked him out first before I let him touch my husband.

He and his staff have taken the time to listen to my issues and address them. They have always called me back and followed up on my progress. Outstanding service.

After Endoscopy procedure, he never explained to me at my appointment exactly what my options or the way to take care of my problem,not very informative, I found out more information in the internet than from him.He is always in a rush to go to his next patient.Its just, "try this medication and nurse will give you instructions", your almost talking to him as he is ready to walk out. At one point he asked "Well, what is it that you feel"? Kind of sounded frustrated.

The info about him on Gastroenterology of San Marcos' website says he specializes in Bile Gastritis and being diagnosed with it in another state, that's why I went to see him. After listening to the description of my symptoms he says he doesn't believe bile gastritis exists...!!! I thought he specialized in that..... He order an ultrasound and didn't call to give me feed back. I called to get the results and also because i was suffering with pain and bowel movements....his nurse said she would pass the info to him and they'd call me back. That never happened..... I don't recommend this doctor....

serious problem. It was an abdominal procedure which became infected and family member had a 6 months struggle to regain health. No antibiotics were given and he was in a hurry to leave which one of the nurses at the San Marcos hospital told us. It was Spring Break.Overheard a nurse in Christus tell another one "he must have clipped something"

Awful response times when calling office for appointment, DR. follow up, medication follow up, etc. The only 'section' that seems to be efficient is the 'Billing' department, very thorough and responsive and well mannered and well spoken; the 'Billing' department?!! DR is somewhat personable, but bedside manners would be very helpful as good patient follow up. Support staff is questionable at best.
