Dr. Carmen J Rodriguez, MD

Dr. Rodriguez is an AMAZING doctor. I am so thankful for her care. She is the reason why I was able to have my second child despite me being a high risk pregnancy with a history of preeclampsia. She takes her time, she responded immediately when I had an emergency, she met me at the hospital when it was time. You don’t find doctors like this anymore. So kind, patient and thorough. Every patient receives the same care. So it’s always worth the wait for me. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get great care throughout their pregnancy.

Never call or send a letter about test results. The feedback is absolutely terrible. I only received the bills.

Doctor is amazing and so caring! Front desk is very rude especially on the phone it’s sad they will ruin it for the doctor have no right way of talking to patients!

she is the reason why i will change my obgyn..you know who you are, this particular lady in the front desk..she's speaking spanish, i've been a client of dr rodriguez for 10 yrs...she is very nice, very sweet dr. but this front desk lady, yes you!you are a shame. The waiting time is long but a can wait even 3 to 4 hours of wait, but i cannot stand this horrible attitude with this particular person. The rest are very nice except for her..she's been there for a long time, 10 yrs ago she's very nice.. if i were you, you better quit your job if you don't like it..you are so annoying the way you answer and it's clearly unprofessionalism

The front desk Is absolutely horrible and be prepared to wait three hours the minimum

I give Dr. Carmen Rodriguez 5 stars. She is a real doctor. Caring and is excellent at what age does. The wait on her office is 100% worth it.

She's a fantastic Dr but office hour waits are insane. I've waited 5hours for her. And the shortest office visit is between 2-3 hours.

I was a patient of Dr. Rodriguez about 8 years ago. I do have to say I was a young naive girl at the time and I didn't realize right away that she was using me to commit fraud. Everytime I went to see Dr. Rodriguez she would examine me and then say "oh I can't feel you're ovaries" and then subject me to a transvaginal ultrasound exam which she herself did. Obviousy she was self referring. I didn't even see the transvaginal probes being properly cleaned which is a huge health hazard. I finally wised up to what she was doing and abruptly stopped seeing her. I will not tolerate that kind of negligent unethical behavior again. Fortunately most doctors are not like this. It's easy to be fooled by her because she is personable and nice on the surface. However, I know for a fact there was no indication for all those transvaginal exams. She just wanted to do them and bill for it.

I absolutely love this doctor and most of her staff. She is extremely patient and geniune!! Would always recommend her and never go anywhere else , no matter the wait ; - ) She was the only doctor, after several, with the knowledge and experience to help me with my pregnancy and pre-natal care. Dr. Rodriguez is the best !!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Rodriguez is a wonderful doctor who takes her time with each and every patient and makes sure she answers ALL your questions. The wait time is a bit long however she does take as much time as necessary with each patient. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease.

The wait was long but as soon as Dr. Rodriguez entered my room, it was well worth the wait. Her bedside manner is exceptional , I got the sense that she was genuinely interested and happy about my pregnancy as a family member would be. She was excited and encouraging, explained to me that we are in this together and will work together to have a healthy pregnancy. She didn't treat me like just "another patient" I felt that she took interest in me and my "super high risk" status. She answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. After seeing her I understood why there's a wait to be seen, if you want a physician to truly care about your health and the health of your unborn child rather than treating you like a revolving door, then Dr. Rodriguez is the perfect doctor. I have 100% confidence in her expertise and enjoy going to see her!

Doctor Carmen Rodriguez. Is an excellent doctor but Secretary Deparment. Is the worse !!!! . They treat you with not respect. At all . I feel sad for the doctor. Becase this lady's are makin her look really bad and I think is not fair for her I will definitely recommend her to change Her staff to a professional custumer service .

I waited three hours past my appt. time and had to leave. The bathroom door had no lock. You were given one napkin to dry your hands with. And the janitor walks right into the office where the exam rooms are with women waiting to be seen. This is clearly a poorly run office. I am writing a complaint to the Administration at LIJ

I went to Dr. Rodriguez last week because I had read so many great reviews and I am trying to conceive. I arrived a few minutes late because of traffic and called to inform them on my way. Little did I know I would wait TWO HOURS before seeing the doctor. She seemed somewhat rushed and condescending in my visit with her but she also took a blood test to see if I was pregnant at the time and told me that results would be available the next day (Thurs). I never received a call on Thurs so I called about 2:30 PM and the office was closed for the rest of the day and Friday (would have been nice if I was told that when she said results would be available!) So I called Monday and the receptionist questioned me and didn't think I had a blood test. She put me on hold for 5 min and came back and said that she was looking into it and would call me back. Never heard back on Monday so I called again on Tuesday and was told the computer wouldn't print and then was put on hold again. Then I was told they could not find my chart and would call me back shortly. Two hours later I am still waiting for that call....

Dr. Rodriguez is a wonderful doctor I been seen her since 2003. she takes her time with me and asnwer all my questions. she delivered my son and daughter. I would never charge her for no one else. she is the best!!!

Dr. Rodriguez has been my OB for over 10 years, has been able to diagnose and treat conditions that other doctors have missed, extremely dedicated to her patients, in other words devoted, I have survived two placental abruptions in her caring hands, while she looks very nice and patient in case of emergency becomes a Pitbull in the OR and makes everybody revolves around you to have the best outcome. I have no words to describe my appreciation for her and her staff.

I have been seen Dr. Rodriguez for over 14 years. When I got married, she helped with me getting pregnant. She helped me through my three pregnacies with care and professionalims. I wouldn't change Dr. Rodriguez for another Dr!

I had been going to another GYN for more than 5 years and never resolved my problems. After a friend of mine recommended me Dr Rodriguez she immediately started to take actions to try and correct my problems. She treats her patients not only as business but she gets involved and takes everything very personal to make her patients feel as comfortable and healthy as possible, the time of waiting is a little longer but I'm sure is because every body wants to see her and she wants to help more people thank you Dr.

Dr. Rodriguez is an extremely caring and knowledgeable physician. She has a wonderful bedside manner and does not rush you through an examination. My only complaint is the wait time. Most of my waits in her waiting room are at least 1 hour long. It may be because she does not have an associate doctor or physician's assistant working with her or because everyone that sees her wants to come back and we will obviously wait for however long it takes to see her. If she could resolve the waiting room issues she would be five stars in my book.
