As a"Top Doctor" among New York Magazine's "Best Doctors" in 2008, is only the start. Dr Rochester is 100% vested in her patients and stops at nothing to aid in healing. Late night reports by phone or just followup phone calls to check on me are just the icing on this consummate professional. A director of a pulmonary rehabilitation clinic and her continuing to research and publish go far beyond your typical doc. 21 years at Yale; and when you sit down with her you know this compassionate and kindred spirit has your best interests in mind and will spend whatever time it takes for you to have all your questions answered and fully understand what is going on with you. The support staff, especially Sue, her nurse, and Victoria are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Yes, sometimes someone with more serious problems might make her run late, just rest assured that when your problems are serious enough to warrant much more time than usual, you will get it. She is indeed, a very rare breed of doctor, I thank God she is mine!

Dr. Carolyn Rochester is a top notch physician. She is everything a physician should be. Skillful diagnostician, caring, easy to talk to, educates a patient thoroughly about their illness, great bedside manner. I cannot say enough good things about her. If I had more than two thumbs, she would get them all.
