I am A Patient of Dr. Bleecher for as long he has been in practice. Very satisfied ***** five stars

If you want your prescriptions held hostage when you’re sick because you can’t get a timely appointment, and if you want to go for every unnecessary test in the book, this is the doctor for you. Also test results are not released without another follow up appointment and this this doctor coukd care less whether you live or die... stay away.

The wait is at LEAST an hour - this time was 2 1/2. He doesn't listen to the patients needs, doesn't care what works best for the patient, doesn't make it easy to get needed tests. ONLY cares about making money. Seriously the WORST Doctor I have ever dealt with.

DR. BLEECHER ORDERED MULTIPLE UNNECESSARY TESTS WHEN I CAME IN FOR A ROUTINE PHYSICAL. HE ORDERED BLOOD TESTS THAT WEREN'T COVERED BY MY INSURANCE BECAUSE THEY WERE UNNECESSARY, ALONG WITH A HOLTER MONITOR WITH A NORMAL EKG. YOU WILL WAIT HOURS TO SEE HIM AS WELL.

I have NEVER in my life, and I am 65 years old, met a doctor this bad. My waiting room wait was 40 minutes. I waited in the exam room 35 minutes before I was seen by Dr.Bleecher. I was there for medical clearance for cataract surgery. When I explained procedures another dr. did, Bleecher actually laughed at me. When I told him what the doctor does for me he waved his hand in the air, snickered, and said, "Oh, that doesn't work" even though I said how much better I feel because of his treatments. He also laughed at the fact that I use Zetia because I'm allergic to statins. Refused to call in my meds even though I had run out 2 weeks prior (took two and a half weeks to get an appt. I was left without meds for: Diabetes, PTSD, hypothyroidism. I called 4x trying to get the Dr. to call into the pharmacy. He told me to call CVS to see if I had old prescriptions with refills!!!!!!! Can you believe that? I use Zofran for spontaneous vomiting, he still refused my meds and instead called CVS to see if I had a refill available!!! What doctor does that?? He sent me to a Cardiologist because he said I had an abnormal EKG. I went Cardiologist and he said I am fine. He sent me to my Pulmonary doctor (I had lung cancer) even though I told him I was just there two months ago and had a C-Scan and was cleared. I did go see the Pulmonist and he said I was fine as is. ALL this for a medical clearance FOR CATARACT SURGERY!!! I went over to Mather Hospital to file a complaint with a patient rep. She couldn't believe just how bad he is. She called Dr.Bleecher and shortly after he called in my meds, not all of them, but half! I haven't been able to test my glucose levels for 2 weeks as my monitor stopped working, it was old. I asked him for a script for a new monitor, he never did. I still don't have a glucose monitor! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!!! RUN DON'T WALK!!!

Dr. Bleecher's practice is terrible. Left him when new doctor took over. If Bleecher opens another practice run away from it. If he was bad in Selden can't see him being better any place else. We went there because of Andrew, wouldn't send a rabid dog to Bleeher. My 5 star rating is for Andrew and the nurses who were there before Bleecher sold us out.

If you like long waits, sitting in a waiting room, being told you need every test he can think of, extra co payments, than Dr Bleecher is the right doctor for you and those are his good points. Dr Bleecher takes it to another level by talking down to his patients, and getting angry when the patient sees a specialist outside of his practice. I can find no former patients that had anything positive to say about his practice

Dr Bleecher is great, wait time is horrible. Staff at desk not so good, techs are nice.

Most awful practice I have ever been to.twice in te last 3 weeks I have waited in the waiting room for over TWO HOURS only to be told by the RUDE SNOTTY AND DUMB clerical staff that it's almost my turn to the leave and go to a walk in clinic. This is BY FAR the ABSOLUTE WORST DOCTORS OFFICE EVER!!!! They over book and then make u wait for hours and lie about the wait times. The girls that work there do not care about the patients or their jobs apparently. They just sit behind their glass partition and talk with each other while sick and hurt people wait out side being lied to... Completely terrible.

I followed my doctor to this office....the staff is slow, rude and incompetent. You're lucky if you're seen in under an hour after your appointment time and good luck trying to get them to send records over to a specialist.

Average wait time to be called in for an appointment is 45 MINUTES. You might wait another 20-30 minutes to actually see the Dr. once you are in the exam room. I have not really been helped with anything here. I reported terrible job stress 5 years ago that I thought was making my BP difficult to control, and was advised to "try meditation". I had to suggest a renal doppler/ultrasound to check more causes of the high numbers. Isn't that the Dr's job?? A complaint about new edema in my foot (after a year of symptoms presenting themselves and not going away) was met with a scrip for an X-ray and a venous doppler to check for clots. (Yes, after a YEAR.) That came back negative and no further mention of it was made. I just deal with the symptoms. Don't bother asking for anxiety medicine; they figure you are going to get addicted. It is true what reviewers said about over-testing. A physical exam typically generated about 4 additional visits to the office. And it gets better!!! The office has been sold to another doctor, and the NEW POLICY is that they will no longer give callbacks with lab results (e.g., for bloodwork). Now, you will have to COME BACK IN to the office for a "consultation", and pay another co-pay. Dr. Andrew Ribaudo is a great guy and I like him but I am no longer willing to deal with this office. I have found a new doctor and will start going elsewhere.

all the one star reviews on this site are accurate. if you don't believe us please make an appt.in this drs office and be my guest. you will soon find out for yourself that yes, they will send you for every test under the sun and are obsessed with doing physicals. one nurse said to me "physicals bring in the money" so yes its a real money making office. and YES, if you challenge them at all your chart is marked as you are a difficult patient. if you take it upon yourself to go to this practice you must be prepared to sit quietly ,wait for a long time to be called, go for oodles of tests, and they try to get you in as often as possible for anything that requires a copay. the office is not at all clean. it should be reported to the board of health to be honest. plus, there are always new nurses when you go, which means a high turnover rate. can you blame theses nurses. all the good ones are gone . cant say you have not been forewarned. this office has a bad reputation.

If you're looking for a practice with talented Doctors, PAs, nurses,etc.. then Dr. Bleechers office is the way to go. Dr. Bleechers main priority is his patients and his practice. He is very professional, and very reliable. His office staff is super friendly and work with you for the best appointment times.The office is very clean and Everyone at this office is dedicated to their work and I have never had a better experience than here! I highly recommend Dr. Bleecher's office !!

This is a true example of a practice based on business rather than patient. Too many instances of not giving a darn about people: ie: told me to go to the hospital to look at red marks then threatened to "note my chart" as if to say that I was a "bad patient". Yes this practice does that! If you ask questions or challenge their decisions they will "mark your chart" so that you'll be conceived as a "bad patient". r. Bleecher himself refused to see my father when he was dying of cancer. Office staff gave me an appointment but then when I showed up said I wasn't due even after showing them the card they gave me, they didn't have me on schedule at all. Dr. Bleecher said I needed to have a series of tests because "I might have cancer". Who does that? Went threw all the tests and didn't find any cancer (1 1/2 years of testing) and then NEVER found the problem, or sent me to the right doctors. My daughter told me to go to a doctor and they found the problem right away. Which was NOT cancer at all. Was an allergy. He always rushed threw and was not sensitive to patient concerns. You wait in the waiting room, 30-45 min and then wait some more in the exam room 30-45 min. Its terrible. Again - clearly running a business not a family practice.

Dr. Bleecher is great, personable, takes his time with his patients, caring and thorough.

I like dr bleecher but office is always congested and staff are always running into each other. not surprised bedside manner is so low in this office as staff always look stressed and rushed. that is passed on to the patient.

I have been seeing one of Dr Bleecher's PAs for over 13 years now. Andrew. I have followed him from several past doctors offices that he was employed. He knows my chart like the back of his hand and actually cares about me and goes over and beyond what a doctor usually does for his patients. Like any business some employees just punch a clock, do their job, and pretty much are not happy and it shows. Many of Dr. Bleecher's staff are far from that and truly love their job and are friendly and cordial. Matt and Jennifer are just great. The office waits are sometime long, but isn't that par for the course? Full annual medical exams will usually spot any major underlining problem with someone's health. I recommend this office.

He is good but a doctor that does not treat his patients, he farms them out to his PA's and Nurse Practictioners

With this office, the goal is how many times can they have you come back. Come for a physical - copay. Come back for a blood draw - wait forever and - copay. Come back for a sonogram - the techs are RUDE and - bingo - another copay. After a while you start to see a pattern. There are so many other competent doctors in the area that nobody should have to put up with this behavior.
