Dr. Marino knew my primary physician, listened to my medical background, understood the issues my body was going through and found the right medication for my migraines. I am extremely thankful to have met him and happy that he is a part of my wellness journey.

I've posted this review on other sites. This was my husband's first consultation. Dr. Marino was rushed, very rude and had no empathy for someone in severe pain. His first demand was "Why are you here, you're already seeing someone for pain mgt and I don't do surgery." He had my husband's prior records but didn't explain his condition or review his test results with him. I couldn't ask questions or advocate for my husband as I normally do in all his Dr visits because I wasn't allowed in the exam room with him. The nurse said it was the Dr Marino's choice to not allow caretakers in the room due to his fear of covid. I was set up in another room on a speaker phone to listen in. He didn't greet me or acknowledge I was there, tho he knew it. I listened and when I realized the Dr was finished and leaving, I spoke up to express my concerns and ask my questions. Dr Marino snapped at me and left. Save your $40 copay and go to someone who cares.

I took my grandfather to him for his late stages of Parkinsons. He hated the fact that we got a second opinion from UF and made it very clear. When discussing depression, he told my grandfather about a surgery he could have that was already advised against and told him "well if you do the surgery you can get what you want and go out with a bang!" We were rushed the entire time, and acted like we were in the way of something else better. At the end, when my mother said she wanted to make sure we had all our questions answered, he told her "you do know I have more patients to see today, right?" It took EVERYTHING in me to not rip him apart and act civil. If you are wanting someone who listens with compassion and gives you the time, do NOT go see him. He is rude, unprofessional, and has no clue- just a rat in a lab coat.

I went to Dr. Marino for Cervical Dystonia. Upon my first visit, he replicated exactly what my previous Neurologist did. There was no examination, he didn't ask if the injections had worked, nor did he ask what my concerns were. I then made the mistake of e-mailing the office to make them aware of the results of the last injections. (My previous Neurologists wanted me to call their office to let them know how the injections were working.) Rather than coming up with an alternative plan, he responded by canceling my upcoming appointment and referring me to a Movement Disorder Specialist 3 hours away. I made it clear I had no intention of driving 3 hours to another doctor and will not be returning to FL Neurology. I have subsequently located another Neurologist. Rachel, at the front desk, is in dire need of "people skills". She doesn't acknowledge you or make eye contact and takes 10 minutes to make an appointment.

I waited three months for this doctor after receiving a glowing review from a colleague. The staff members were great. They showed more interest and professionalism in the few minutes I talked to them, than the doctor showed for ten minutes. The doctor was curt and abrupt in his sorry attempt of a interview. How do you interview a new patient without a complete history and recommend taking them off their meds without it? I won't be seeing this doctor again. I am just glad he didn't study gynecology or proctology.

I have been seeing him for the past 3 years or so. He is attentive and allows enough time to discuss any concerns you might have. Caring, and seems to be up to date in his practice area.

Dr Mareno's fast diagnosis and organizing immediate treatment saved me from a case of Guillain Barre syndrome. I am very gratefull for his efforts on New Years eve.

The doctor is nice, however, if you have a problem and need to be seen the wait time is 2 months. They wont allow you to see anyone else either. 2 months time is ridiculous and because of that I don't refer this doctor to anyone.

Very nice man. Was great with my daughter who I brought with me. His staff told me he treats ms after a thorough review and exam he told me he doesn't specialize in it and referred me out. Upset with Fl neurology for lying to me about his practice specialties but it's no reflection on him. Id definitely recommend him to others just make sure u ask what he treats

I had an initial visit with Dr Marino. His staff was courteous and professional. Dr Marino was prompt, knowlegeble, courteous and examined me appropriately. I am pleased with his care and will see him as my neurologist.
