Dr. Christian (Kris) Obah, M.D. is uncommonly kind, decent, and genuine. I believe he genuinely cares that his patients receive the best care he can provide, and that their quality of life improves because of his treatment. Dr. Obah is knowledgeable, bright, and answers questions and concerns thoroughly. I've been so impressed with his considerate care and the way he actually listens to what I'm saying (a rarity among today's doctors) and allows me to be the professional about myself (while he's the professional about pain management medicine), that I've followed him from the conclusion of his fellowship at U of U, to a clinic in Ogden, and now to his clinic in Kaysville. I've recommended him to dozens of friends, family members, and acquaintances over the nine years I've been his patient. Yes, Lifespring Pain Management has had serious issues in the recent past with staffing, wait times, and quality of care (from some of the staff). I've witnessed implementation of significant changes (additional providers, expanding the clinic's size and quantity of exam rooms, quadrupling restrooms, doubling the waiting area, moving to entirely digital charting, and :::installment of a superb administrator:::). I see these investments in the practice as more examples of Dr. Obah's genuine concern for his patients. Dr. Obah is multi-lingual. Nigerian by birth, he's fluent in several languages including Spanish and English. He makes significant effort to understand and to be understood. I've been a Registered Nurse for 31 years, and have phenomenal trust and respect for Dr. Christian Obah on a professional level and as his patient. I trust him. I'm grateful for his supportive and kind nature. To anyone suffering from severe pain (whether temporary or chronic), I highly recommend Dr. Obah.

Danna Schow is wonderful! She listens to not only details of my pain management but me and my overall life care. She discusses alternate activities that I can do to improve all areas of my life, thus minimizing my pain control and the depression and anxieties that can add and exacerbate my pain. She is a great listener and always offers her opinion when asked. She is smart, informative, compassionate, and kind. Everybody needs a Danna Schow!!!!

Although they are very busy, the clinic truly takes time to know me and to understand my pain needs. Doctor Obah and the great staff took several angles to treat my pain issues and to get me back to functioning at a high level at work and with spending quality time with my family. They also have access to other modalities that treated my pain rather than to just prescribe pain medication. I'm very thankful I was referred to Lifespring.

Dr Obah has been the ONLY Dr I felt has actually cared about my pain. He has read literature on the side effects of a product used on me without my knowledge that has a major lawsuit against the company who made it, any other Dr I have asked if they are aware and they say no i let them know I have a pamphlet they could read if they like and they always act insulted or push it off to the side or just straight up say NO. You would think the Dr trying to help you would want to know how this product has caused you and others side effects that are chronic. Dr Obah on my first visit said he wasn't familiar i asked if he would like to read a pamphlet about the product and the side effects it has caused chronic issues for patients the product was used on, to my surprise he actually said yes and read it while I was there. He then was very thorough with determining what areas i has wrong without me stating anything yet and the four tests he does i failed all four, so he was very concerned about my back and nerve damage. He spent a good hour examining and listening to what has been happening. He then scheduled some injections he thought might help. Some did but for only a short time period, he wasn't going to continue those injections in the future if they were not helpful. I have had Drs who just keep injecting you even when told it didn't help at all or for only a week. They would pass me off to another Dr to go see or PT, i have been passed around so much it was exhausting. So finding a Diamond among all the rust and dirt, this Diamond of a Dr showed me there are Drs who still care and are not annoyed with their job but actually entered the field to help patients, not be rude and uncaring or passing the buck. Dr Obah is a prime example of what a Dr should be and if you feel hopeless and have been treated like trash due to your pain, then come see Dr Obah or his Assistant they both will show how much they care will always remember you and will try everything they can to get you to the lowest pain level possible or to get you back into life where you can do activities you used to be unable to do due to your pain. Dr Obah treats you the way any Dr in any field should, even with the huge amount of patients he has, to this day is always caught up with me and knows me and what we have done to alleviate the pain. Pain Drs can be some of the most uncaring Drs here in Utah. Dr Obah is a REAL Dr who is invested in you and your pain management. Thank you Dr Obah for reopening my eyes to the fact there are Drs who really like their job and help their patients with the kindness, loving bedside manner he has and that he is always trying to assist any way he can. I still haven't found a general practitioner who shows they care, i am just a patient to pass off to specialists and always a number to where i have to catch them up on what we have been doing. Dr Obah will never make you feel like another number or a thorn in your side, even if he doesn't know exactly what is causing the pain, he will do everything in his power to try to find out by referring to neurologists or other specialists that are out of his field of medicine BUT he will STILL be your Dr for your pain management. Once again thank you Dr Obah, you are the light in a dark room always trying to lower patients pain and make their life more bright.

I have been going to doc Obah for chronic back pain. I really like doctor Obah as a doctor, he's very open minded very caring and seem s very personable, the thing " In my opinion " it's going to be the office personnel" I have never met a receptionist as rude as the girl you check in with at the front desk, her mannerisms are absolutely terrible her phone skills areeven worse if that possible! I have witnessed patients call in while I have been waiting for 45 minutes and over" up to 1 1/2 hour on one appointment! She asks patients if they will hold and turn around and start chatting about nothing, I also know she does the appointment scheduling! Once you get into see doc Obah it's well worth it. At this point I wouldn't recommend anyone to lifespring" not because of the doctors, but because of the receptionist!

iv been with dr.obah for 7months now and i love him i dont think the new doc. on staff is a good suite 4me or 4my needs as i feel im not focused on 4m my past as my past meds keep me feeling normal and could throw off my balance of normalcy if they change. my needs are long term not temporary fix . but w.dr.obah hes great with my kids hes very kind and takes the time 2listen 2ur needs and is very accurate with pain management as long as i see him only i will deff. recomend him 2friends and family ...

Dr. Obah is the most caring, thorough and effective physician I have ever had. I've been dealing with chronic and acute pain in my entire back, neck and knees (all joints) for two decades, and he has been more effective at helping alleviate my pain than any of my previous doctors. He is amazing at giving injections! I highly recommend him to anyone needing help with "real" chronic pain.
