Dr. Christopher O-Neal Thompson, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Thompson for the last 17 years. He and his staff are the ultimate professionals. They care about their patients and take the time to listen. They have a wonderful bedside manner and always treat you as if you are their most important patient. They are just like family.

Simply the best practice & doctor I've dealt with

Dr Thompson has been my primary doctor for the last 10 years, I have been very pleased with his services and the care. He is very through doctor, doesn't believe in giving a lot of medication that isn't necessary. He is very easy to talk to and listens very well to our needs. He is truly concerned about our health and makes us feel very comfortable to discuss whatever medical problem we might have. I would highly recommend Dr Thompson to anyone.

My family has been under Dr. Thompson's care for over 16 years and plan on continuing. He listens without rushing us and thoroughly addresses any concerns we might have. He's caring and will see us any time we have an urgent issue. He's surrounded by a wonderful staff as well.

Dr. T is always on top of things, listens to your concerns. Does not make you do unnecessary tests. Very nice and great with kids

Dr Thompson has been my family doctor for over 10 years and I have always been pleased with his services. He has always taken care of my needs and always explains what he is doing and makes excellent recommendations for myself and family. He was my mother-in-law doctor when we started taking care of her after my sister-in-law suddenly passed away. Dr Thompson took really good care of my mother-in-law, took her off a lot of medication that she didn't need to be on and improved the quality of life for her. My mother-in-law always enjoyed seeing Dr Thompson because he would always explain to her what he was doing and how he was going to take care of her. I am really pleased with the care I and my family have received from Dr. Thompson.

Dr Thompson is a great doctor has been treating my kid's and myself for years.He's great with kids never a dull moment. Always helpful and truthful to and for your needs.I would recommend this doctor for anybody.

Awesome Doctor: Great staff

Dr. Thompson has been taking care of me and my family for 8 years. He has the best bedside manner of any physician I have ever met and has always provided exceptional care to my family.

I have seen many Doctors in different states and I am glad we found Dr. Thompson. When he relocated his office further from us we gladly chose to drive further rather than find another Doctor closer. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. He explains things clearly and is obviously interested in keeping me and my family healthy. I feel treated more like a friend than a patient.

Dr. Thompson is patient and takes time answering questions and the appointment never feels rushed. I joined through a referral and it has been a great experience.

Been a patient for 15 years and my wife has for about 20 years. Would not consider switching to another doctor despite the fact that we live in Florida and have to travel to Nashville every 6 months to see him. Cant think of any higher praise than that for Dr. Thompson. Plus he dont strut around in a white coat with a rubber glove on his hand. Only negative is that he is a big UT Vol fan. Go Heels

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Thompson for 9 years. He's made one only diagnostic error (for us) in that time--pretty good, IMO. He always spends a lot of time with his patients, which is great; however, that does translate into significant wait times. I always try to get one of the first couple appts of the day. I would absolutely recommend Dr Thompson to anyone. I will say that if you are overweight by choice (as opposed to being overweight due to a medical condition or treatment) and/or smoke and you aren't willing to try to learn to make healthier lifestyles choices, do not expect him to cut you any slack. He does expect his patients to have the same commitment to their own health as he has made to promoting their health. He won't be mean or anything, but he will regularly point out how bad lifestyle choices contribute to poor health. We find this element of his practice refreshing and on point. As a primary care physician he has a responsibility to practice preventive medicine--and he actually does!

Dr. Thompson has been our doctor for 3 1/2 years. We are thrilled! He is very kind, asks questions,listens and never seems in a hurry when we're with him. He is very knowledgeable and quick to address problems immediately. We have full confidence and faith in his abilities to take care of us! Bottom line - we trust him to do so!
