Dr. Nwodim always listen to exactly what I was feeling. He helped me try a conservative path with physical therapy and pain management, with surgery being the last resort. When it came time for the last resort (Microdiscectomy) Dr. Nwodim took the time to ensure that I full understood the procedure, healing time, and follow up. I am now six months post op and pain-free! I still use the stretches that Dr. Nwodim recommended while I was healing and I would recommend him to anyone looking for relief from a back injury!

Dr Nwodim did an excellent job with my back and leg pain. They helped me avoid medication through the use of therapy with their staff. I now do follow up exercises which are quite effective.

Dr. Nwodin performed five level laminectomy surgery on my lower back. It was successful. All my back pain is gone. Dr. Nwodin visited me every day while I was hospitalized. He has seen me four times to follow up on my recovery. His manner is caring and supportive and reassuring. I recommend Dr. Nwodin highly.

Dr Nwodim has been a life saver for my mom.My mother had laminectomy with fusion almost 2months ago,my mother could barely walk prior to surgery but now she is walking.Dr Nwodin is an excellent surgeon,he has the best bedside manner(and l work in health field)and is very attentive to his pt's.He explained everything to the T. Did the surgery incorrectly. After 8 months, the humerus break had not healed. He knew that and did not refer me to another surgeon. Also damaged my radial nerve causing wrist drop and hand palsy. Very bad experience.

Dr. Nwodim has an excellent "bedside" manner. From the first time I met with him in the emergency room I felt totally confident and trusted him completely. His calm demeanor and confidence put me at ease. I underwent a 7 1/2 hour surgery that required significant fusing of my spine. The results of the surgery were excellent. I have no restrictions on my activities. I have been following up with him since my surgery for 15 months and he has always been uplifting, positive and caring.

My son is a HS Basketball player and Dr Nwodim has worked with from his Fresh-Senior year. My son had Pars stress fracture in his lower back his freshman year. After Dr Nwodim's treatment, he had no issues with his back until some slight pain his senior year. Again, after Dr Nwodim's treatment, the pain went away and he did not miss a game. Dr Nwodim is very smart, but also a tremendous communicator. He takes the time to explain what is going on, literally walking us through each X Ray and MRI. I highly recommend Dr Nwodim.
