Dr. Parnes doesn't do her own work. She relies on what previous doctors have said. This does serious damage. There's no excuse for that. This is just laziness. She needs to do her own work. Dr. Parnes misdiagnosed me.

Dr Parnes is the Gynecologist I recommend to friends and family - I had a scheduling issue with a procedure and she bent over backwards to accommodate - and the procedure was flawless - Thank you!!!

My first visit to Dr. Parnes went alright, she seemed a little condescending but I just took that as her having a bad day and let it go. On my second visit to Dr. Parnes, I was telling her my symptoms and what I thought I had based on those symptoms. She would not listen to me and kept insisting I had a UTI. She prescribed me medication to treat this UTI she insisted I had. A few days later her nurse called me because my test results had come back and confirmed that I had what I initially thought I had. She had misdiagnosed me. I discontinued the antibiotic and was put on another medication. My third visit to Dr. Parnes was horrendous. At the very beginning of the appointment, she asked me if I've had any usual symptoms, which I did. In the middle of me telling her my symptoms, she stopped me and yelled at me because I did not detail these symptoms to the front desk receptionist and therefore had to waste her time providing another fluid sample for testing. I did not feel comfortable disclosing my symptoms to the front desk receptionist with a room full of people behind me waiting for their own appointment. I didn't voice this to Dr. Parnes as I was just so taken aback that she would raise her voice at me like this, and at that point I did not continue telling her the rest of my symptoms. We went through the rest of the examination and I provided a second sample before leaving. I've never been treated like this by a doctor before. I felt angry and belittled that I had been suffering with symptoms that I couldn't explain and was yelled at for voicing them at the wrong time, which inconvienced her. In addition, I could tell every time I came in that Dr. Parnes was speeding through our appointments and not taking the necessary time to make me feel comfortable or listen to my concerns. It takes time and trust on my part to describe something so personal that is affecting my daily life, and patience on her part to listen and advise me correctly. I believe a high level of sensitivity is required by a doctor, and especially by a gynecologist. Dr. Parnes lacks these characteristics. I should say that Dr. Parnes' nursing and office staff has always been kind and respectful towards me, but I DO NOT recommend Dr. Cindy Parnes to any woman seeking a gynecologist.

Non caring, non interested. Can't be bothered. The only thing she wants to do is sell you her $900.00 x 3 procedure. Otherwise, she couldn't care less.

I have worked by her side in the past and she always practices with respect and integrity. I would recommend her to any woman!

I have been going to Dr. Parnes for two years, I find her to be brilliant, accurate, knowledgeable, and up to date on current medical practices. She is very personable, kind and compassionate. I could very easily ascertain that she is passionate about medicine and her patients.

I wish I read these reviews sooner. I would have spared myself a horrible experience at the hands of a rushed rude non intellectual physician with terrible bedside manner. She doesn't listen and sent me for useless tests instead of thinking for a minute and ordering the right one. Waste of time and emotionally hurtful.

harsh manner-not sympathetic or concerned no follow-up interest

Do not bring your teenage daughter to this doctor. I waited an hour to see her she was running behind in her appts. She was rude, no paitience, barely listened to why I was there.Bad experience look for another doctor.

Great doctor. I go to the for Weight Loss Management and Gyn services. She is fantastic, knowledgeable, very very nice, and did not rush me. The first visit she really spent a lot of time getting to know what my concerns were and my medical history. So far everything has been a success.

Dr. Parnes was callous, cold, unwilling to give me a referral to surgeon to get my breast biopsy; she started loudly mumbling that my insurance (Oxford at the time) did not have many providers and it was MY PROBLEM to find a referral. She showed ZERO sensitivity to the fact that I was experiencing the possiblility of breast cancer. I had never experienced a doctor to be this cold and uncaring in my 42 yrs of life. **I would avoid her at all costs unless she has sought counseling and has changed her approach to patient care entirely.

Setting aside the fact that she walked in almost an hour late without an apology...she treated me as if she had no time to answer my questions. She gave brief answers to my questions like "there are many possibilities" or "every woman is different" without taking any time to really talk with me. This happened both times that I've visited her but this past (and final) time ended much worse: after a dispute about payment, she dismissed me by walking out of the room saying, "if you have a problem with that, don't come back." I hope she doesn't expect me to.

Dr. Parnes is a wonderful and caring doctor. She helped me through a difficult pregnancy and subsequent difficult c-section. She also held my hand through the most scary diagnosis of my life. Dr. Parnes was there for me every step of the way!

During my first few visits, I found Dr. Parnes to be knowledgeable and helpful. On my last visit, I felt very rushed. She did not have time to answer my questions and told me to come in for a follow up visit. I decided to follow up with another practitioner who would have time for me.

I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and follow up from Dr. Parnes and her staff. I waited 3 months for my test results and then learned my pap test was abnormal. While I did not receive a follow call, Dr. Parnes billed my insurance company $425 for HER time in addition to the $350 for my annual exam. I was told the $450 charge is for the "conversation" she had with me during the exam. One would think that when taking on a new patient an initial consultation is necessary to learn the patient's medical history and any problems the patient is experiencing.

Very unprofessional during office visit. She received a text and texted back during my exam after I waited over an hour in the examining room. Would not recommend her. She also waited weeks to call with the results of my tests. No excuse for that.

I was not comfortable with her because I felt like she was a salesman for Gardasil. I was 22 when I went to see her and she kept insisting that I should get the vaccine even when I explicitly told her that I did not want it. She kept forcing the issue and antagonizing me asking me why I didn't want to get it and how I should really do more research on it. She really should focus more on the patient rather than shilling for a vaccine.

Did not like her eye-rolling nor exclamation that I was "crazy" for deciding to carry out my health care a certain way. Staff was indifferent. CMA never said a word to me but talked with a woman outside the room. No thanks.

I was a patient of Dr Parnes for a number of years. I followed her when she changed practices and ended up leaving her care due to what I feel was poor, poor bedside manner. After having a miscarriage (and not planning on being pregnant) I felt judged by her for not being married at the time. I am now married to the same man. She told me I could go back to work and NEVER spoje to me about the possibility of the emotional impact of miscarriage. In fact, when I told her how I was feeling she just basically ignored it. I happened to have a very difficult time with depression due to the chemical changes in my body and I felt she pretty much wasn't interested in that. When I asked her about future pregnancies, she said, in fron tof my now husband, "well if it's with him or another person you should be fine..." She was wrong, insensitive and the care or lack of care I received was really tough to go through. I work in the medical field myself and feel she needs to improve her approach to dealing with patients. Also, she recommended NO FOLLOW UP care and when I swithced to my new MD, she thought I should have at least had some follow-up bloodwork.
