Dr. Clint John Wooten, MD

I saw Dr. Wooten for the first time today. He quickly diagnosed a meniscal tear as the cause of my knee pain. He gave me several options for treatment with his professional opinion. Then he let me choose how I would like to handle my situation.

This was my first visit and I needed it to happen sooner than later so I agreed to meet with Dr. Wooten’s PA. She was extremely thorough and I didn’t even scream while getting a temporary, but needed cortisone injection. I momentarily met with Dr.Wooten and felt nothing but confidence with my decision to have a second knee replacement. I was given every fact I needed to make an informed choice. I know that Dr. Pepper Murray and the original Mountain Orthopedics team are bringing in the top surgeons available to compliment their team. I was also directed to Dr.Wooten by a orthotic implements sales rep that spent time watching Dr. Wooten perform through his residency. He comes VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Totally appreciate Dr Wooten and his team for the care and skill they provide their patients. I have had both a total knee and a hip replacement…both went great! My appointment today with Dr Wooten was for my 2yr (knee) and 1 yr. (hip) follow up’s. While the actual appt. discussion was pretty straightforward, I truly appreciate Dr Wooten taking time to ask me about what else is going on in my life. I was in and out within 20 minutes (including my x-rays), but felt so well taken care of. He’s the best!

Had a good visit with Dr. Wooten. He said everything is looking good. I told him I was having some problems with some tight hamstrings and he game me some ideas for stretching the hamstrings. I always enjoy visiting with Dr. Wooten.

I have had both hips replaced, one in October and the other in December. I walked out after each surgery and have been doing great. All staff has been very helpful and kind and I have had a great experience.

Some people who wrote reviews below don’t really understand the demands on a surgeon. It is a surgeon job to operate on you. Dr. Wooten has a more than capable staff to answer questions and run the office. Dr. Wooten has always given me his time before surgery and at a few appointments at his office. I have had one complete knee replacement and I’m going in soon for the other knee. I’m confident in his skills and his staff’s ability to care for me as needed. Thank you, to the support team, for all that you do for Dr. Wooten’s patients, and thank you Dr. Wooten for your skill in the operating room and for always making me feel heard.

I have not met Dr. Wooten. I only went in for a consultation and x-rays on my knees. It was decided I didn’t need surgery yet but was given cortisone injections to ease the pain. This worked very well. I have gone twice for these injections. The receptionists were friendly, the office clean and orderly. I waited maybe 10 minutes. The PA came in to give the injections. He was very friendly and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. All in all, it was a good experience.

Short wait time, took the time to explain things. Cared about me and my needs and answered all questions. Very personable. Loved the whole experience.

My initial visit was great. Dr Wooten was personable and took the time to answer every question we had and explain things in a way that we could understand. His staff has been amazing, their follow up and attention to detail was excellent. They worked around some time frame issues I had and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing hip replacement surgery.

Dr Wooten is an amazing surgeon. I have spoken with many of his patients (while in physical therapy) and they all do amazingly well. The sad thing is, it’s at the point now where you feel like a number being processed. The only time you see him is just before he operates on you. Then when you think you are either going to see him or his PA you end up with his nurse practitioner…… If I wasn’t so confident in his surgical skills I would probably find a different surgeon. But he is truly the best.

I am grateful for the great surgeon Dr. Wooten is. He is caring, compassionate, and willing to give you the time you need to be comfortable. Sarah and Jared have been amazing to help answer questions inin regard to having a hip replacement. I would recommend this office a million times over.

I was Initially Very Positive: The PA I Saw was Very Efficient, Thorough and Listened to My Concerns (albeit Checking Her Watch Repeatedly)! The Next Visit, Dr Wooten (Is In the House for a brief Celebrity Tour!) Gave Me About 10 Minutes of His Time Before Edging Toward the Door... (Should Have Known That was a Sign of Things to Come!) But, I Also Got a Grudging 5 minutes -- Each -- Before and After Surgery Before I Went Home the Same Day. BUT, Three Weeks Later, I Find Out Dr. Wooten DOESN'T Do Follow-Up Appts AFTER Surgery -- You See His PA Even Tho She Wasn't in the OR! I Have Have Heard Tales of ARROGANT Surgeons Before and This Confirms It! As Far as I Know, Dr. Wooten is a BRILLIANT Surgeon (Perhaps on the Far Brilliant End of the Autistic Spectrum Since He Seems to lack Genuine Interpersonal Skills?) and My Hip Replacement Seems to Healing Apace...? But I Ask: You Can't BOTHER to Spend Another 10 Minutes Consulting with Me on the First Post-Op Appointment Checking My Progress/ Talking to Me? I Feel TOTALLY VIOLATED! I Laid Out My Life in Trust Before You -- and That's ALL I Get After? If I Had Known, Dr. Wooten, That You Would Be So Cavalier and Callous About My Feelings and Emotions I Might Have Chosen a Different Surgeon? You Sir, Have Made Me Feel as insignificant as a Side of Beef on Some Meet-Packing House Assembly Line...! This is Only the First of My Reviews with an In-House Survey to Follow... Such ARROGANCE Needs to Be Called Out Dr. Wooten. FOR SHAME!

I was very impressed by the way Dr. Wooten treated my issue as it pertained to me. He is very personable, extremely knowledgeable and great to be seen by. My whole experience with him and his staff was quite refreshing!

I love Dr. Wooten and his staff. They make you feel comfortable from the get go. I was 100% confident in his knowledge and approach to doing my full knee replacement. Bedside manner is awesome. He’s always got a smile and encouragement for his patients. I absolutely recommend him.
