My experience with Dr Wellborn was excellent. I found him very personable and kind. He allowed me to choose my treatment and that shows he has respect for his patients. He also took time to listen to me. I highly recommend him.

As someone who was quite anxious about having a knee replacement, I delayed it far too long and was in significant pain by the time I had the surgery. Dr Wellborn provided a completely comfortable environment, acknowledging my anxiety and relieved my concerns. The staff along with Dr Wellborn were always available for support and any needs. I only needed a prescription sent to my pharmacy, but in these days of coronavirus and stay-at-home orders, everything seems more daunting. I called Dr. Wellborn's office and they took care of it right away. The staff is always professional, efficient and so caring. I have and would highly recommend Dr. Wellborn for those needing orthopedic care, he is the BEST!

I regret choosing Dr. Wellborn. Immediately after my knee surgery, I knew something was wrong and sought to address it with him. He dismissed my concerns out of hand. It's been five years, and I still regret my choice

Seven years apart, Dr. Wellborn performed both of my total hip replacements. He is highly skilled, thorough, patient and has excellent bedside manners. My recovery from both surgeries (posterior approach) was excellent. My second replacement was two years ago, and I was doing well. However I experienced THREE HARD FALLS during the fall and winter of 2019 that raised concern due to lingering pain. When I called for an evaluation appointment I was seen without hesitation. Dr. Wellborn was thorough, as always, and gave me the instructions needed for continued recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Wellborn.

A knee replacement went precisely as planned. Full recovery. Years later an existential threat to my life due to metalosis brought on by a hip joint done by another doctor. Led to two surgeries, one which lasted 6 hours. It is called a hip revision and very serious. Due the skill of Dr Wellborn I have survived and thriving.

Dr Wellborn is a phenomenal surgeon and an all around wonderful person. When repairing my torn ACL and MCL, he was kind and caring. His surgery left no noticable scars and has left my knee better than before. He got me skydiving again! I can't ask for more than that.

Dr. Wellborn is always personable, thorough and competent. Although I’m sure he is very busy, he never seems to rush through an exam, and I feel very confident in his care. His staff is great as well!

Dr. Wellborn always provides thoughtful and thorough care, I have every confidence in his medical decision making. He tends to be conservative in his approach to orthopedic problems which I appreciate. If I needed orthopedic surgery he would be my doctor of choice!

Urgent surgery! Everything was done quickly and went well. I am recovering and expect to be completely recovered in about 3 months.

I have had 2 total knee replacements by 2 different doctors. The right TKR was performed by Dr. Colvin Wellborn. He did a wonderful job and I have had no issues with it. But the other knee done also by a reputable doctor has bothered me for years. Dr. Wellborn has taken care of my mother who also has knee pain as well as my daughter who was a top athlete at McLean High School. He is easy to speak with, to understand and he does not rush you during your visit. He also wants you to try everything else to get better before resorting to surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Wellborn for your ortho doctor.

Dr. Wellborn is excellent! A skilled surgeon who puts your mind at ease, listens to all your questions, and is genuinely a nice person. I had a fully hip replacement and thanks to Dr. Wellborn I feel great again after months of pain and poor mobility.

I would highly recommend Dr. Wellborn. He has done 2 successful knee surgeries on me and has always taken time to answering and explaining any questions I had in the follow-up visits. He is a very caring and precise surgeon and doctor who aims for the total satisfaction of the patient's problem and in whom I have total trust.
