Dr. Craig Hunter Lovett, MD

Dr. Lovett has been treating me for 12 years. He has done 3 hand surgeries, hip replacement, broken ankle, foot, arm and treated my arthritis. His staff were great and the mood of the office was always up beat and fun. I will miss him and wish him greatest retirement as he sure deserves it.

I had my arm set by Dr. Lovett years ago. When they did the x-ray after setting the cast my dad pointed out to him that the bones were not aligned and questioned if the cast should be removed and it set again. The Dr assured him it would heal fine. I now have a noticeably crooked forearm. I have a friend who also broke his forearm. When the cast was removed his radius bone was sticking up above his wrist like a giant marble (no exaggeration). I wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone. It's a small area. Ask around before you go to Dr. Lovett.... I am sure you'll hear many more stories like this.

As a professional who has worked in the orthopedic field for many years I can tell you that Lovett is amongst the worst skilled surgeon I have ever seen. The only reason he has good reviews is because his patients basically don't have a choice on who cares for them. The are uneducated in this field. He is horrible

He has made a large difference in my "older" husbands life. He is a man's man and my husband follows all he tells him to a tee. (unlike hearing the same from his wife (me) He is straight forward, and we love him. A hip and a knee, done perfectly, and advise on recent problems, we will use him "until he retires". Thanks.

Met in Mark Twain Emergency. Attention was almost instantaneous! Repaired my Wife's broken wrist, after about two hours of preparation. Hospital staff is amazing. More tender, caring, care would be hard to imagine. Dr. Lovett's repair has proven virtually painless!! We haven't even used the mild analgesic that he prescribed for pain! Would recommend him any time.
