Dr Cuong Trong Ha

I am disappointed about Dr. Ha's unprofessional attitude. He answered my questions like I am bothering him. He was not kind and didn't take time with care.

Have Basal cell carcinoma on my ear. Dr. Ha didn't get all the cancer when he did surgery to do so on my ear. Biopsy found cancer in margins still. The skin was just flapped back over and doesn't look good either. Dr.'s Office called me back and not the Dr. and told me "likey" was got with cauterization. Which is "likey" just an excuse and cover of one's tucas. So now I still have to worry about my ear after the whole ordeal and the cosmetic surgery is very unattractively done. Very disappointed. You think he would take the time to be sure before cutting, care more about the appearance afterwards, and actually call me with results since he didn't get it all.

Dr. Ha and his staff are the greatest. My wife and I have been patients of Dr Ha for about ten years. He is personable, very interested in you as a person and very thorough regarding treatment. He has instilled in us a very high confidence. We look forward to our 6 month checkups. Highly recommend him.

Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews on this doctor prior to seeing him - and his office. It's a shock they are still in business. This man is a thief, and most of his staff follow in step. They performed procedures on me, saying oh yeah the insurance will cover it, and not ONCE mentioning there would be additional charges. A few weeks later, I get a bill for a whopping 770 dollars. How is this covered? I have had plenty of simple procedures like this before, and never once was charged like this. I just wish I would have read all the previous reviews, then I would have known to stay away.

This provider does not take Tricare of any kind - I do not understand why doctors in Northern VA (an area with many military retirees) will not treat Veterans and their families as most retired veterans have Tricare. This is especially true of dermatology doctors in this area - terrible.

I have never written a review about anyone. Not a restaurant, business, anything and the first time I contemplated writing a review about a doctor was for Dr. Ha. He may be very knowledgeable about skin care but talking down to my teenage son was about all I could take to realize others who are his patients or are thinking of becoming patients, to warn others to stay away. Like others have written in their reviews, he is condescending, talks down on his patients and even huffs out of frustration, I don't know why he's so impatient and pompous. Dr. Ha has shown how rude he is in previous appointments but I did not expect this to be the case with minors and the parents witnessing. He certainly doesn't hide he's lack of bedside manner, and may even be proud of it. Please stay away. It will be a pain to find a new dermatologist in the area but I will gladly take myself and my kids to a place where we are and feel respected. What a big disappointment. Sadly, his staff has learned to be rude also. If you do decide to make an appointment just because it's in your area, make sure it's with Chelsey. She knows how to treat patients the right way. I can't give Dr. Ha even one star on the bedside manner or follow up after visit. Not only because he has no manners but he doesn't seem to care if you come back for a follow up.

I have been a healthcare professional for over 20 years and have worked with many many doctors. I found Dr. Ha to be rude, condescending and unprofessional. Will never step into his office ever again!

I had skin cancer which another local dermatologist did not catch and he took the time to examine me carefully. When the results of the biopsy came back he called me personally and explained the procedure and answered all my questions.

I saw Dr. Ha, for adult acne and prescription for cold sores. He wasn't friendly. He didn't take time with me as a new patient, and when I asked if I would be able to call on the phone and get prescription refills if I ran out rather than always making an appt for cold sores, he got huffy and cold. He said he needs to see me yearly and that what he gave me is enough. He was very sharp and made me feel very small. I work for a large dental practice and we offer the most warm and caring and personable customer service. I will never go back, and I steer everyone I know away from making the same mistake I did.

Staff is fine, but he is about as friendly as a rock. Pompous as well

I like the office space. It is clean and comfortable. The doctor was very friendly and thorough. He went over all my moles with a magnifier. Even pointed out spots that I wasn't aware of. Turns out the brown spot I was worried about wasn't even worth fretting over.

I have been seeing Dr. Ha for years and think the quality of his care has gone downhill significantly since moving to the Gainesville location. I had an appt at 4:ooPM and arrived at 3:50PM. No one said a single word to me and at 4:30PM I got up, scratch my name off the list and advised the receptionist that I had to leave as I had another appt. Now I keep getting a bill for late cancellation. I did not cancel. I was there waiting and the Dr never showed up and no one ever said anything to me. I will not pay this and if they send it to collections, I will file a small claim suit in court to get my money for the time and gas spent waiting for him. It is simply ridiculous that these Dr's and their staff can't get up off their arses and advise people that they are running late! If i had been late to the appt I sure would have heard about it or been made to wait until he was done for the day!Just go elsewhere -- not worth it and there are many other Dr's that will be on time for you.

My son's course of treatment requires a monthly visit and blood testing. I have made appointments 6 mos. in advance for both the check-ups and blood tests. Last week I had an appointment at 7:30 AM Friday for blood work. Unfortunately, no one showed up until 8:00 AM at which time I was told that the office doesn't open until 8:00 AM and there is no blood work on Friday. When told that I had received a call on Wednesday confirming the appointment, the receptionist still refused to believe me until she found the appointment in the computer. I called Dr. Ha and asked to discuss it. He never returned the call. While seeing the doctor for the check-up this week and telling him that I wasn't happy, he told me that it was my fault. I should have called to verify the night before. I said that the office had already called to confirm. He said it didn't matter. When I continued talking about it Dr Ha started yelling at me, told me if I didn't like it I could find another office, and he then stormed off in a huff. I am not exaggerating in the least, and if anything it was worse than it sounds. I've never witnessed this level of unprofessional behavior from a physician. It will be a pain finding a new doctor, but I will not be going back.

I think he has a terrible bedside manner. I will not be back.

Took a lot of time with our family, very thorough, explained everything well.

Good bedside manner. Liked him alot.
