Dr. Dale Leon Coy, MD

Dr. Coy is very knowledgeable and compassionate. He listened to my concerns and his work with me to provide the best possible options for my treatment. He went out of his way to contact another physician for me while I was in his office at a visit. His genuine concern definitely shows. I am in the healthcare field and it is very rare that you come across a physician who is as willing to go above and beyond for his patients as Dr. Coy is. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Coy has experience, skill and is very personable.

Saw me in the hospital told me I wise fine after being in the hospital for 4 days. Told me my ct showed minor inflammation canceled the scope that was ordered for me sent me home. Was able to get a second opinion and emergency scope that showed I have extreme bad case of Erosive Gastritis as well as an inflamed colon and zero natural flora. Thanks for treating me like a drug seeker.

Dr. Coy and his fine staff have created a superlative adjoining facility where better than hospital quality services are performed. My experience was 5 star. I received a better than full explanation of what was to happen, with everything performed in timely fashion. Dr. Coy was very thorough and gave me a very professional summary of his findings. I believe my two-test experience exceeded any I have had at area hospitals. Highly recommended.

So glad I have encountered Dr. Dale Coy and his staff. I have total trust in his very professional ethics. He is a great guy to work with and his staff is very ,very helpful. A great gal named Julie, one of the receptionists, in particular, is a fantastic assistant. Any questions are answered in full detail. Leaving me with no doubt about what has to be done by me for any colon prep procedures. Dr. Coy is on top of my list of really GREAT G.I. Doctors! He is a MASTER of his medical profession. Myself being at the young age of 62, I am looking forward to a very, good, long patient/doctor relationship with this person. I feel very confident that I am in good hands with his overall professional medical knowledge and many plus years of medical experience. The good doctor is one of the most down to earth individuals I have come across in some years. I will always highly recommend Dr. Coy and his staff for years to come.

Great Doctor

Dr. Coy is a wonderful gastroenterologist! Before I had a serious condition pop up the end of 2016, I only saw him for routine testing and had no idea how good (and kind) this doctor would be. At this point he has helped tremendously as we work toward full healing. During these last months of treatment I have seen him pour his time into his patients in need...sometimes having to wait a little longer than my appt. only to see and learn of his heart and giving his best to his patients in need. I've been one of those squeezed in when needed and probably caused the next patient to wait. Believe me, he is well worth the wait, if you want a doctor who will be honest, tell you straight, tell you if he doesn't know, and listen to your questions and concerns. We are retiring and moving elsewhere and my biggest fear is finding another doctor. I said that to him and he will still work with me over the phone until I find my next doctor. I value his judgment and care so much, my husband said we will just come back to IL a couple times a year if we need to.

I'm very happy with Dr. Coy's care. I have nightmarish problems with acid and reflux, which have caused scarring to my esophagus and severe difficulty with passing food from my esophagus into my stomach. I looked horrible because it was nearly impossible for me to sleep. My quality of life has changed immensely since seeing him.

Great doctor, I only wish I had him here in Florida. I feel very uncomfortable about getting another colonoscopy here.

Extremely knowledgeable; excellent care; attentive and kind

I had to leave a message to make an appointment, however I'm finding that to be true with every Doctor I call. The staff is great from the first encounter to checking out. Dr. Coy does run a little behind, but he spends the time with you when he is in the office visit. I have always gotten an appointment and have often been told by him to tell the staff to overbook me. Another reason he might run behind, but it's better than waiting weeks to get in when you are really sick. The staff is always friendly and I have been to all three of his offices. I have a chronic illness and I could be made out as a pest but not here. I think it's a job well done by staff and Doctor.

Dr Coy is very approachable, answering questions in an understandable, courteous manner. He is also an excellent diagnostician in that he did not stop investigating the cause of my symptoms until the source of my problem was uncovered. He understands drug interactions better than any other physician I've experienced and actively looks for alternative resources when the empirical prescriptions proved unsatisfactory. He is a very busy physician and any wait time I experienced was due to time he spent reviewing my file so he was prepared to see me when he walked into the room.

I wasnâ??t exactly excited when I turned 50 to have my primary physician tell me it was time to get a colonoscopy. He recommended Dr. Coy stating that he was the best in the area. Having just completed my second colonoscopy with Dr. Coy, I couldnâ??t be happier with him and his office. Everything from scheduling, to the procedure, to the follow up was handled very professionally and timely. In fact, my wife and I recently had a â??couples colonoscopyâ??. No, not at the same time but back to back. Dr. Coyâ??s bedside manner was great. While not looking forward to my next procedure, knowing that it will be with Dr. Coy puts my mind at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Coy and his entire team.

My initial procedure went off without a hitch. My follow up appoint was unreal having â??phone taggingâ?? each other 10 plus times just to confirm. Unbelievably poor and unacceptable communications. My follow up was the most deplorable and shocking DR/patient experience I have ever had in my life though. I thought you guys were supposed to care about the patient? This was an epic display of a â??Hypocriteâ?? not Hippocratic. You have our health in our hands and we put our faith in you. I will never put my life in the hands of this group again.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Coy to any of my family or friends. My confidence in his medical abilities are unfaltering. I have gone through five procedures with him and each time I have been very pleased with his expertise, professionalism and wonderful bedside manner.

There is something wrong with this entire group.They will end your life with their errors and ommissions.Maybe they have too much DDT in their blood or something.They do not care about their patients, only about their egos.
