Fabulous man. Explains things clearly. Takes time to make sure everything is understood. Will never go to any other DOCTOR. He truly is the best.

Excellent doctor. Very caring and listens to what you tell him. He is with you all the time. If you call he will speak with you or he will call you back immediately.

Dr. Clair has helped my years of struggling with an "invisible illness" almost completly come to an end. He has always been compassionate and willing to help. He is a doctor I can trust and a doctor who will not give up on you. He has changed my life significantly and I will forever be greatful! I would and do recommend him to others! I also would like to add the staff at the Palmetto Richland Hospital are amazing people, so helpful and caring. It is best hospital I have ever been in. I would give them a 10 out of 5 rating! I felt like family to them during my stay!

Dr. Clair stented an aneurysm that my mom had. No one in Akron would touch her because of her age. Dr. Clair was so nice and so knowledgeable. He performed the procedure and my mom was back to her old self. She then had a problem with her aorta. We called Dr. Clair and he got my mom the top surgeon in this area. She had to have part of her aorta replaced and she did fine. She was 85l. Dr. Clair came to see her even though she wasn't under his care this time. I would recommend Dr. Clair to anyone and would feel totally comfortable if I needed any type of care in his field.

Dr Clair has done 3 procedures on my legs and I would never trust anyone as much as I do him.

Dr. Clair's care for me was excellent. I recommend him without hesitation.I have a condition that he anticipated would be easy to treat, but my body did not cooperate. He stuck with me until we resolved the problem (unusual for this condition, which has a fairly high abandonment rate by physicians when the first surgery does not completely resolve the problem).During his care for me, the twists and turns taken by my condition (which was uncommon to start with) put it beyond any standards to compare it to. Dr. Clair was honest with me about the limits of medical/his knowledge, then gave me his best (educated) guess. So far, it seems to be accurate. My problem now is almost completely resolved.Whenever I needed to reach him, even for relatively trivial matters, he responded promptly and treated my inquiries as if they were welcome.I did not address wait time in the ratings because, although my average wait time was considerable, I do not view that as negative. Once I had his attention I had it completely (absent emergencies) for as long as I needed it, and I know the reason I was waiting was because he was giving every patient ahead of me his undivided attention, for as long as they needed it.Personally, I like that trade off - but if wait time is one of your pet peeves, you may find that aspect of his practice challenging.

After two years of dealing with symptoms related to carotid artery dissections, I finally decided to get a second opinion. Dr. Clair was proactive, and he confidently helped me make the decision to have an angioplasty. I am so glad that I did. Everything went very well. Dr. Clair's bedside manner was comforting and reassuring. He listened to me, and for the first time, a doctor actually validated what I was saying. I would recommend him to anyone!
