Awesome experience! Years of no diagnosis and careful examination by Dr. Kirby revealed scalp psoriasis and diagnosis (finally) for my chronic pain and joint swelling ; psoriatic arthrtis. Now I am on treatment and completely free of pain and my fatigue symptoms are better. I have my life back thanks to this amazing doctor. Don't go anywhere else !

Dr. Kirby will spend as much time as he feels is needed to address your issues. I love the fact he actually listens to what I say and what direction of treatment I prefer.

The worst office staff I have ever worked with! I have never called and gotten a person only voice mail. I can never get my prescription refilled there is always some kind of mix up. The practise is always closed. I had one of the staff tell me "She wasn't going to apologise for being on vacation!" I would not recommend this office to anyone! It is a disaster!!!!

I've been to several rheumatologist, the took years with no diagnoses, and of course no treatment. I went to one that lied to me. Dr. Kirby tested me, came up with a diagnosis and started treating me. As the medicine slowly took affect I started to feel better. Don't mess around, I know if your looking for a Rheumitoligist your in pain. Go to Kirby first!!!!!!

Dr. Kirby is the only doctor I have ever been to that is not in a hurry to get up and leave you after spending two minutes seeing you. He has always answered all my questions and explained all my treatment options. I have never felt rushed during a visit with him. He actually cares how you are doing and wants you to get better. His nurses and staff are the nicest people I have ever met.

I have been very impressed with Dr. Kirby's knowledge, concern, and follow up. So glad my PC doctor recommended him, as I had very serious concerns (and a diabetic as well) and Dr. Kirby certainly impressed me from my first visit, follow up calls, and steps taken to insure the best choices of treatment are given. these days and times, with hospitals owning and dictating how and what is done for patients, it's extremely reassuring for me, to have a doctor that can do what HE or she knows is right, and not follow a standardized "menu of treatment" that so many practices do these days due to being "under an umbrella" of management. (My PC doctor is not owned either, and I can surely tell the difference with time spent and individualized care/treatment) thankful:)

I have read many of these reviews and disagree with the negative ones. I was a patient for approx 15 yrs. I found Dr Kirby to always be very thorough, kind and knowledgeable. Never have I dealt with a better staff of nurses & office staff. I truly miss Dr Kirby, Heather,Angie & all the personnel. RA is not an exact science. Caromont Health made a huge mistake (not their first). Wish I knew where Dr Kirby is now.

I started seeing Dr. Kirby in August, 2009. He diagnosed me with Rheumatoid Arthritis and started me on a series of drugs and expensive testing. After months and months of treatment, not seeing Dr. Kirby much, but his sympathetic and nice, but not very knowledgeable PA, Heather Perkins, I wasn't getting any better. I doubted that I even had RA and questioned it and was assured that I do. I received a letter from CaroMont that he was no longer a doctor affiliated with them, I sought another doctor and was informed that I DON'T have RA. This is very upsetting since I spent months on medications with very adverse and dangerous side effects only to learn they were unnecessary. I couldn't believe it. Glad I found out the truth and can now deal with my new diagnosis of Fibromyalgia!

with Dr. Kirby getting me on the right medications, I was able to start back walking without a cane.He & Heather Perkins were just the best, however;the Caromont Management team discharged me from his office: I could not pay fast enough on a test performed in his office.I think that is sorry whenever I pd the co-pay at every visit.

Dr. Kirby has been my doctor for more than 10 years. He is the most compassionate, knowledgeable and professional doctor that I have ever encountered. He has given me back my life and I will never forget what he has done for me and several of my friends and family members. While he is affiliated with one of the worse health care systems ever (Caromount), he is a star!

This doctor gave me a miracle! He diagnosed my rheumatoid arthritis and then spent hours on the phone with my insurance to make sure they would cover my medication..I am forever thankful to him and my nurse Crystal for their compassion and hard work. They are very dedicated to each and every one of their patients. The infusion lady (can't remember her name) is awesome as well. She always has a smile on her face and is always concerned with how I'm feeling.

I started seing Dr. Kirby and was very impressed. His staff very unprofessional. They lost my chart, not friendly they fight amoungst themselves after 8 mons of treatment I have switched. He only wants to hear you are ok never what your issues are.
