Dr. DeWitt is an amazing spine surgeon. I wouldn't trust anyone else to operate on me then Dr. DeWitt. He listens to his patients. He explains everything from what is going on with your spine and what the options are to fix it. I always recommend him to anyone that is going through back issues.

Dr. De Witt is very through in explaining the procedure and what to expect. Very friendly, asks you every time if you have questions which ensures your comfort level with the procedure. Follow up visits were timely. When I had a concern after hours, he returned my call within a short amount of time and explained what I needed to do.

For 3 years I had Sciatic Nerve Pain. I had many injections, chiropractic and massage therapy and a Foraminotomy, that did not help. Through a friend, I heard about Dr. De Witt and was able to schedule an appointment. All my records were sent to him, and he gave me a very positive diagnosis and recommended Fusion Surgery at L5/S1. Surgery went fine and I have no Sciatic Nerve Pain. It is amazing and I am so thankful for Dr. De Witt and his team.

Dr. Dewitt was great to work with. I really felt like he listened to my questions and I did not feel rushed. He was able to talk through options for my medical condition. I ended up having a spinal fusion of C6/C7 and everything went great. I also liked that there was an app to tell me what to do leading up to my surgery and after to track how I was doing, etc. It was very easy for me to enter questions into the app and receive a quick reply.

I tried going the more conservative route to alleviate my back pain. It helped for a while but always returned. I finally decided to talk with Dr. DeWitt about a surgical remedy. He explained the different procedures to fuse my vertebrae. He was very informative, caring, intelligent. After the surgery, my recovery went quickly and I no longer have any pain. I couldn’t have asked for better care from Dr. DeWitt and his team. I would absolutely recommend him.

He took the time to answer all of my questions. Dr. DeWitt has assembled an excellent team who are all highly skilled, caring and friendly. I was kept well informed every step of the way during my care journey. Scheduling for surgery was seamless and they coordinated everything with my insurance. My surgery was very successful. I only regret not having it done sooner. I do not live in Wisconsin, but the travel is well worth getting the best possible health care. Dr. DeWitt is a very caring and excellent spine surgeon. I was very hesitate and afraid to have a spinal fusion however I am so glad I finally made an appointment and found out what I needed done. Dr DeWtt has a way of instilling confidence in his patients by being very detailed about your injury and the best way to help. I was referred to Dr. Dewitt because of cervical degeneration pain and bone spurs. He and his staff, especially his nurse, Jolene, provided me with the very best service and care. Dr. DeWitt was my surgeon for a spinal fusion about 3 months ago. I was suffering from numbness and tingling in my leg, and severe back pain. After only 3 months, my leg symptoms are gone and I am not taking any medications for back pain. Results were immediate and dramatic.
