I got a next-day appointment with Dr. Eichten as a new patient! Dr. Eichten spent time hearing my history and concerns. He gave me several options for treatment and told me the risks and benefits for each option. He did not persuade me toward one option or the other. I was sent home with information to decide my next steps. Office staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

There was a longer wait time than usual to see Dr Eichten, but the office staff were so friendly and accommodating (we were offered water and snacks while we waited) that I wanted bothered by it. I saw both Blake (Dr Eichten’s PA) and Dr Eichten in a timely manner. My concerns were addressed and I did not feel rushed despite how busy the office was. Overall a good experience.

Wait time was fantastic! Got right in, and then had x-rays almost immediately. Was seated in room, and Doc came in within 5 minutes. Quick review of my condition and conversed, then sent on way with prescriptions ordered. Fastest and best doctor's visit, EVER!! ????

My appointment with Dr. Eichten today was an orderly progression from the waiting room to X-ray (very pleasant technician) to a short wait before being called into an exam room where the assistant gathered information followed by the doctor . Dr Eichten is relatable, professional while explaining my injury and its remedy. I so appreciate the timeliness of my appointment and the closely coordinated effort of his office. His executive assistant is receptive to individual needs and follows through as promised. Fabulous group.

Had 2nd knee replacement surgery & everything went well. Recovery & rehab going very well. Dr. Eichten did an outstanding job & was 100% ! Very appreciative & very happy. Thank you Dr. Eichten!

After having examined my hip X-ray, Dr. Eichten gave me a thorough explanation/assessment of my problem. He was very patient in answering all of my concerns and questions and we discussed protocols going forward. Sooo easy pesy, my appointment was 11:30, I arrived at 11:10 . Checked in downstairs, checked in upstairs. Was called back at 11:25 for x-rays, called again at 11:30 to the exam room. Doctor came in at 11:35, I was on my way home at 11:45 . Kudos to all !!!

My overall experience with Dr Eichten and his staff is been a blessing and I'm grateful.

Love this guy. He just tells you like it is. He’s also a great surgeon

I found the wait time a little long. My scheduled appointment was 1:45 pm, I did not see the doctor until almost 3pm. The procedure only took 10 minutes. Maybe the appointments should be spread out more. I would rather have a later appointment than wait around for an hour before seeing the doctor. Staff were very pleasant and courteous. Ted

Just finished my 5-month recheck on my 2nd knee replacement with Dr Eichten. Wouldn’t see any one else around after my 1st successful KR. So professional and informative to possible alternatives to try before surgery. I highly recommend you meet him and see if you agree.

I had knee replacement surgery and the entire team was wounderful to work with from start to finish.

Very pleased with Doctor Eichten and everyone else at the facilities. They all seemed to care about what your problem was and wanted to make you feel more at ease about it. My shoulder replacement is doing fine and very little pain envoled.

After meeting w 3 other Fort Myers orthopedic surgeons over several years about my failing knee, at 74 I was referred to Dr Eichten when I met one of his nurses during a chance encounter. By this time, cynicism had set in as I once again went for an initial review. I found Dr Eichten to be the most competent and clear minded about my proposed surgery and total knee replacement. I was highly motivated to regain my mobility and minimize pain and down time. Dr Eichten is a robotic surgeon and to me, that was the difference maker. That surgery, as I understand it, generates the most precise cut possible. Dr E gave me options regarding hospital or surgery center settings. He did the same for me regarding rehab center or at home OT and PT. This rehab was not without considerable pain and effort, but the path was clear. I felt Dr E trusted me to rehab as fast as I could. Consequently, after day 5, i quit taking Oxy, (lots of acetaminophen) and began limited driving (my right knee was replaced) and getting my independence back. I did my rehab as my PT prescribed and forced myself forward. The results less than 3 months later are regular participation in my regular rock & roll dance groups, a long walk at Christmas through major airports without using the walker and wheelchairs needed just months before. At 4 months I have minor discomfort that Dr E said to anticipate during the course of the next year as my bones grow into my new implant. I recommend Dr Eichten with hesitation. Further I had him MRI my shoulder and here, we are going without surgery (yet) trying to see if it can be avoided.

Fast, courteous, relaxed atmosphere. Fastest in and out to date, perfect appt time. ??

I’m confident in the care I always receive in the office and with the receptionists. I may have to wait but it is explained that the doctor is running behind which to me is acceptable as long as I am informed of such.

Dr Eichten and his staff are amazing! I had a left TKR in December. The procedure Dr Eichten used with robotics, surgical glue versus staples and the pain pump was 100 times better than my right TKR 4 years ago. Back to limited golf in 6 weeks. If you have joint issues Dr Eichten is the person to call!
