Been several years now since big time back operation, second review from me, 5 stars two years ago and STILL 5 star better back today. Wow, and I am not a doctor type fan person, 77 years old, a NO meds type, but I needed Dr. David Estin.

the most horrific experience I have ever had. I am a doctor myself for 35 years. I called as a new patient with a chronic spinal condition that's been getting worse. clear cut established diagnosis. they refused to book me unless I send a new MRI, have the doctor review it and decide If my condition deserve his attention. which I did all of the above. the radiologist that read the MRI even called the doctor to convey how bad the progression of my case has gotten. still no booking, no call back, nothing. I called again begging for an appointment as I couldn't sleep for 3 weeks from the pain. still no response for merely an appointment. it has been 5 days of me calling after fulfilling all their needs. and still not even giving me an appointment. if they do that to someone in urgent need let alone a "colleague" what they will do to other patients. if they made enough money not to care to take new patients, at least be honest and say we don't take new patients instead of jerking them around for days while they are in pain. they simply don't care.

Had 45 years of low back pain relieved, the last years pain was off the scale bad, could not stand or walk for more then a short time. Operation completely changed everything, actually feels good to walk and stand again, my mind was so used to the pain, it now questions where is it.

Dr. Estin solved my lower back pain by surgery; and now I'm able to walk 2 miles without pain. Dr. Estin is monitoring my two brain tumors with MRI and providing me with several options. I trust Dr Estin with my life!

I had a severely herniated disc causing sciatica which was affecting my daily life. I was referred to Dr Estin and couldn’t be happier. Everyone at the hospital kept telling me I chose the right surgeon. He performed a microdisectomy with a way smaller incision then I thought, already have relief from sciatica, healing well and I feel I made the best decision going to him and having the surgery. His coordinator Doreen was so helpful to me and he truly is an amazing surgeon. He explained everything and made me feel at ease. I would 100% recommend him to anyone.

My primary highly recommended Dr. Estin. I was in horrific pain from ruptured discs and severe Sciatic impingement. I was grateful to obtain an appointment quickly and my successful surgery took place 3 weeks after my consult. Dr. Estin's office team could not have been more helpful from the initial call to follow ups. My experience at Monmouth Medical was seamless. Dr. Estin's Surgical Team was professional and compassionate. He was always available as was his team. Cannot sing their praises enough!!!

After seeing Dr. Estin. I tried for two days to make another appointment. The office takes my name and telephone number, but never returns my call. It was hard to believe the other patients, when they had a difficult time making an appointment, but it's true. If for some reason he didn't want to see me again, all they had to do is say so. He's not the only doctor to see in my area.

As a existing patient of Dr Estin I called to make an appointment to have him look at my MRI of my lower back. I was and still in severe pain. I was told the doctor's coordinator would call back. After repeated calls over the next few days I was told that we will call you don't call this office. After 5 working days still no answer from Dr Estin's coordinator. I called and was told that his next available appointment was 4 weeks away. This is ridiculous. Dr. Estin's practice is a joke! Find someone else other than the Neurosurgeons of New Jersey West Long Branch including Estin, Olson and Lustgarten if you are in pain. They don't care. The first thing the office person asked is what insurance you have. So they care more about being paid then they do patient's condition.

I had a particularly complex cervical spinal surgery which Dr ESTIN performed. His skill level was exceptional and his whole team were outstanding. I never imagined the care I would get nor expected such amazing results. I am 6 days out of surgery with s 5 day stay at Monmouth Medical ICU, Long Branch. Very little pain now due to the precise care and instructions I was given. I would recommend Dr. Estin to anyone needing this type of surgery. I am truly grateful.
