Dr. David Ben Gerson, DO

He has been my child's doctor for almost 10 years. He has been good for her. He seems to know more than what most people comment here. It seems a lot of people do not know the difference between DO or MD. DO's are just as qualified and have to pass the same test. DO's are licensed to practice in any field they choose. Going to a DO school doesn't mean it is any less of a school, if so tell that to Oklahoma St or Michigan St who both have DO schools...ignorance is bliss!!!

Subsequent to a visit to this person , it was obvious to me that he was less knowledgeable than me about my medical situation. I then did what I should have done earlier and did a background check. He went to a second rate Osteopathic school and is a DO and not a MD. He is a nice enough person to chat with, however you shouldn't go to a doctor because he is nice. BEWARE !!!!

Does not listen. My input is meaningless. Initially, I felt like he was ok but now I am hitting the road.

This person is a nice person. Having said that he is an incompetent doctor. If you want a second for bridge then he's your man. If you are really sick, run away. Fast.

This guy runs his office like a military operation. Most of his patients are not really sick but bored or always think they are sick. Learned this sitting in the waiting room. If you are really sick stay away. If you need a flu shot then he's ok. Nice guy but poor doctor.

This guy is always in a hurry to have you exit the office. He is not good for anything except minor problems. His training is very limited as he is a DO not an M.D.

I have had it with going to a Doctor who works for a hospital or other company. The experience was a real cattle call. Initially, I thought the Doctor was greedy and always rushing you out of his office. After talking to friends it appears the Doctor has to what they are told by the company to maximize profits. They are an employee, not a Doctor. Sad.

In a hurry for no reason and will only address one problem per visit even if they are connected. Not only greedy but relatively incompetent. If you have a simple sore throat he might be OK. If you are really sick, go elsewhere.

This person is always trying to convince you to try a drug or procedure that is questionable or dangerous so you are required to come back frequently for blood tests or other checks. For instance, prescribing testosterone for women which is not FDA approved, dangerous and the prescription will not be filled by a legitimate pharmacy ang you have to go to a compounding pharmacy to create the drug. This is technically illegal but is apparently is winked at by all concerned. Beware.

Always in a hurry to get you out of his office. Will only address one problem per visit. Greedy and rude.
