Dr. David Andrew Godin, MD

I met with Dr. Godin to discuss surgery for tongue cancer. I was extremely nervous about this situation, but Dr. Godin clearly explained the surgery procedure to me and answered all of my questions fully and completely. He was also very upfront about what the recovery process would entail and made sure that I had all needed medications on hand ahead of time. I definitely appreciated being so fully and accurately prepared. Happily, the surgery was very successful and my recovery time was not as uncomfortable as I expected. I am very grateful to Dr.Godin for his skill and for his caring. I would also like to compliment the office staff at ENT. It was easy to schedule appointments; the wait time was minimal; and Dr. Godin’s assistant was professional and courteous. I have to give a special shout-out to Denise, who handled the pre-surgery paperwork. When the pre-op clearance from one of my doctors didn’t arrive on time, she was exceptionally helpful in following up herself to be sure all documentation was coordinated on time. This is one of the most efficient and pleasant medical offices that I have experienced. I highly recommend Dr. Godin and this practice.

Dr.Godin saved my life. I went in for, what I thought was, a routine check-up on my irritated sinuses due to the winter weather and intense NYC apartment radial heating. After prescribing me a 10-day antibiotic, I returned feeling much better. He insisted on taking a biopsy of one area that looked a little inflamed. I felt like maybe this was not necessary but I gave my consent as I did trust him and his experience. I'm glad I did as the biopsy came back as positive for cancer. It lead me on a long journey to oncologists to treatment, and finally recovery. If it wasn't for Dr.Godin's instincts and expertise I don't know how long it would have taken to be diagnosed with cancer, let alone find where it was stemming from. I know a biopsy can sound like a scary thing, but a couple of seconds of discomfort can mean a world of difference.

Wonderful experience with Dr Godin. My 6 year old daughter required tonsil and adenoid removal which was a scary experience for all involved. Dr Godin's humor, professionalism and surgical skills were top class and it has been life changing experience for our daughter. We will forever be grateful that Dr Godin was our choice.

Dr. Godin pestered me for years to get rid of the cyst on my vocal cord. I didn't want to deal with it despite my throat being hoarse all the time and my throat being fatigued. After 5 years of treating it with some success it finally got to a point I couldn't deal with it anymore and I got the surgery. It's probably one of the best decisions I ever made. My throat feels better. My voice is back and the surgery wasn't that bad. Dr. Godin did an amazing job. The not talking for 5 days after the surgery was challenging but was definitely doable and a great social experiment. I'm attaching the before and after photos. I went to see Dr. Godin for a totally opacaified maxillary sinus, found on an MRI I had done at the request of my primary MD. Dr Godin then did a cat scan, which revealed a calcification in the center of the opacified sinus. He suggested surgery to remove this, and offered an in office procedure (awake) or go to the hospital (sedation). I chose the office. I didn't want to spend hours in a hospital for a minor procedure. Dr. Godin explained in detail what was to be expected. Yes, I had to be very still. Yes it was a bit uncomfortable, but no pain after surgery! Dr. Godin removed a horrible fungal infection from my sinus cavity that had calcified. I can now breathe and no longer sleep with my mouth open. He is professional, courteous, prompt with appointments and kind.I had a few follow up visits. All good now. I highly recommend Dr. Godin, his assistant Kurt and his entire staff. Do not hesitate to come to see him.

I did significant research to find the best ENT for what could be a unique and complicated diagnosis. And i have to say in practice Dr Godin exceeds every written word there is for his skills, inquisitive nature, compassion, knowledge, transparency, communication style, and selfless approach to my care. He is so thorough in his research, diagnosis, explaining things, collaborative nature with other specialists and medical staff, that my wife and i always feel confident and secure in his care. I highly recommend Dr David Godin!!!!!

Dr. David Godin is simply the best doctor that I have ever treated with in any capacity. I have had multiple surgeries by some of the most renowned doctor in the world and Dr. Godin has stood out among them all. Over 15 years ago Dr. Godin did surgery on my son to remove his adenoids and tonsils to help him sleep and breathe better. It was a life changing event for him. He went from every night waking with a consistent sweaty head and when he was stuffy from having long struggling pauses between breaths to sleeping soundly and comfortably ever since with no side effects of surgery whatsoever. You want a doctor who is going to diagnose you properly, care about your condition and figure out the fastest and least disruptive treatment plan to get you feeling better, Dr. Godin does all that but what separates him from even the most accomplished physicians is that way he treats you during the process. His bed side manner is the most caring and concerned that I have ever experienced in my 53 years on this planet. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Godin, I feel lucky that he is my family’s physician.

Dr. Godin and his crew are AMAZING! I don't use that word often, but here it applies. My wife and I were visiting from Florida and needed ENT care. We found Dr. Godin to be very thorough and knowledgeable. Most recently, at my follow-up visit, the staff remembered us and made us feel welcomed as if we were patient for years. The office is very organized and uses modern iPad like devices for registration. The administrative staff from receptionsit, nurse, and office manager were all courteous, professional and one of a kind. A great experience for us both times visiting. I told my wife we would move back to New York for this ENT. I recommend Dr. Godin to anyone who wants amazing care with a great support team behind him.

He is professional, knowledgable and passionate about what he does. I read a lot of reviews before I went to him that said he's gruff and he was the first time I met him. But I don't need a Doctor to be my friend, I need them to be the best at what they do, and that's what he is. He explained what I needed, gave me options and has the best team around him. I felt comfortable and fully informed every step of the way.

I had a severe case of Vertigo about a decade ago. Dr. Godin treated it and it has not re-occurred. More recently, I visited their office with persistent ear-ache. I have used the medicine he prescribed for two days and the ache is beginning to recede - a very big relief. The excellence in Dr. Godin (beyond professional expertise) is his capacity to listen, empathy, patience ... with clear articulation of choices.

We've been seeing Dr. Godin since our daughter was just 3 years old. He remembers her history, makes her feel comfortable, and we always leave feeling we have gotten top-notch medical care. Could not recommend Dr. Godin more highly.

I met with the Office Manager Kevin regarding a bill I kept receiving. I will say He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable about my insurance. He told me to call them up and verify the information he was quoting as their system may be out of date and he was spot on. I love medical facilities who take the time to help patients understand if there will be any out of pocket costs. My insurance plan always confuses me on what I am responsible for and Kevin has always been very helpful to me and extremely patient. Ty!

I recently had surgery with Dr. Godin and I have to say it was one of the best experiences from start to finish. The hospital staff too great care of me and I was VERY comfortable the entire time. The best part is everything Dr. Godin told me would happen did and was spot on with his care. I'm very happy with the results!

I've seen this Doctor a few times. He's excellent!!! Very personable and easy to understand. I have this chronic issue and been dealing with it for months before seeking medical attention. Thankfully I Did!!! I feel like I'm on the road to recovery. Dr. Godin wanted to follow up the necessary steps before rushing off to the operating room which I could appreciate since my Insurance sucks. I also didn't know he was listed as a New York Top Physician In New York Magazine. Definitely well deserved and a two thumbs up from me.

This doctor was one of the best, if not THE BEST, I have ever seen. I had a complicated issue that I went to a number of physicians to discuss. None of them were able to get to the root cause of my problem, let alone solve it, until I went to see Dr. Godin. Not only is he smart and extremely competent, but he takes the time to go through the facts and options with you so that you can make good decisions about your course of treatment. He also makes complex medical issues easy to understand in layman's terms which I really appreciate. I have seen some reviews complaining about long wait times in his office. I have a few things to say about that. 1) Who wants to go to an office where the doctor has no patients or strong following. That is like eating at an empty restaurant. The crowd says a lot about his skill; 2) When you see the time he takes with you its easy to understand how he can run behind. Frankly that is a trade off I will take everyday of the week; and 3) When you have an emergency, he is there for you. He will fit you in as he did for me. In short, this is one of the best doctors I have ever met. I can't thank him enough for the quality of life he has restored to me. He pairs cutting edge technology and medical knowledge with an old fashion approach to patient care from a relationship perspective. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
