Great!! - Great!

The eye surgery was a miracle for me. - I would wait for Dr. Immanuel for hours and I have …waited and waited. I have resigned myself to the fact that I will be there for about two hours each time. My daughter loves him and her appointments are usually two hours also from the time she enters the office and leaves. This time it was about an hour and 40 minutes I was in the office. Dr. Immanuel is always patient, kind, and never rushes. He answers all my questions and is so professional. I don’t know what the answer is but as I sit in the office I can hear the grumbling from all the patients -not just his patients- the other doctor’s too. As I said … I will wait for him and just bring a book to read,as I have just retired. But people like my daughter who work a full time job find it difficult to be there for two hours- a good potion of that time just waiting. I have learned to ask for the earliest appointment of the day - it cuts it down to a little bit of a lesser wait.

I felt confident in the doctor's and staff's capabilities. - Dr.Immanuel was very good at explaining my issues and his staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Best decision we ever made was to visit Dr. Immanuel - My mother and I went to visit Dr. Immanuel for our eye exams, we are both scheduled for surgery and we couldn't be more at ease and confident with any other Doctor. Dr. Immanuel was professional, punctual, informative, patient, friendly and extremely thorough with his examination. We are very pleased and confident with Dr. Immanuel and highly recommend him, you will not be disappointed.

Dr and staff are nice - The schedule was a mess. 12.20PM appointment and my daughter was not seen by the Dr until 1.35PM. Figure out a way to be more timely with his calendar.

Excellent - Positive experience

Dr. Immanuel did not know much about my serious condition that was causing me to have double vision. He then tried to explain my condition with complex medical jargon which i didn't quite understand. What made things worse is that he did not make proper referrals and never followed up with me after seeing me. He claimed that he would discuss my case with another ophthalmologist but when i called the other ophthalmologist they never heard about news about my case from Dr. Immanuel and didn't even take my insurance. I had to take matters into my own hands and find specialists who could help me. i later found out that my situation was serious and i needed surgery to preserve my vision. Dr. Immanuel left me stranded and i still have yet to hear back from his office after seeing him almost a month ago and he has still not even cared and called to follow up with me regarding my situation to see if his referral went through. Dr. Immanuel seems to be negligent and will not really go out of his way to help patients. Although he wasn't specialized in my case and is a lasix/cataract surgeon. As an ophthalmologist he is lacking. Find another ophthalmologist if you have a serious condition and want good care with someone who is knowledgable or at least courteous enough to care and make proper referrals.
