I truly believe God sent us to Longview Regional Medical for Dr. Jayakar. He is a God send with the best manners, compassion, professionalism….I could go on and on. He has treated my mother for the last 7 months. He has gone above and beyond what most people would do. He truly cares for his patients. It means the world to us, knowing that a doctor really cares. I can’t say enough about the staff at at the hospital. Everyone has been so kind. Thank you Dr. Jayakar and Longview Regional Medical for everything you have done and doing for my mother.

I would like to make Dr Jayakar aware that he has very rude staff when it comes to scheduling appointments with his office. My PCP provider has spoken with them sent referrals and contacted me to get in touch with his office again to get scheduled. Jerri that answers his phones is very rude and unprofessional, they stated to my Pcp they have scheduled me and I did not show on several occasions not sure if the doctor is aware of how his patient scheduling is being handled and I hope he gets this email personally regarding this review. He seems to be very professional and great at what he does from all his reviews I have read.

We are so grateful to Dr Jayakar! He literally saved my husband’s life. I cannot thank him enough. The whole experience at Longview Regional Hospital was outstanding. The doctors, nurses, technicians, food services and housekeeping were the kindest and most compassionate professional people we have experienced in this part of the state. Dr Jayakar took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done to treat my husband’s heart and what to expect during the post surgery period. He also has worked closely with our local doctors to be sure we are all on the same plan. Thank you so much Dr Jayakar and all the wonderful people that work with you. All of you took a very scary situation for our family and turned it into an exceptionally positive experience. May God bless you all and protect each one of you.

6 1/2 years ago Dr Jaguar saved my life! I had a myxoma ( tumor), which is very rare, in the right side of my heart. My odds 0of surviving the surgery was very low. My heart stopped twice. I survived! I love Dr Jaykar!

The best in the field for cardiac surgery. Unique beating heart surgical bypass procedure WITHOUT cutting by breast bone completely. I was able to get out of my bed and chair from day one. I am driving my car in two weeks after 4 bypasses to my heart. Exceptional surgeon

Great and caring Doctor, very compassionate

Dr. Jaykar is a wonderful caring physician. I have recovered remarkably well. Honestly I never suffered any pain from my heart surgery; only some discomfort with my arm where they had to harvest a vein (I believe). I was the patient in the recovery room who told them to take me back to surgery because I had no pain so I thought I hadn't had surgery. I would like to have seen Dr. Jaykar more often in the hospital but was told I didn't see him very much because I was doing so well which was a good reason not to see him.

The best in this procedure. Had the procedure on my uncle recently. It was done without splitting the breast bone completely. My uncle is fully functional and is back to work!!! Truly AMAZING. Also exceptional office staff.

I credit Dr. David Jayakar with my being still on this GOD'S GREEN EARTH. I just recently went to him for an annual check-up----Results was fantastic. BUT, 15 months ago when I entered the operation room, everything had to be Perfect---everything had to be done Perfect---- 5-plus inches of ascending aorta was replaced---- Cow-Valve replaced the aorta valve---veins taken out of my right leg were used in triple bypass----these were the major parts, there were others. RESULTS was PERFECT----- Today, I walk a mile every morning at full-blast speed and other exercises. No one can tell me that this Christain man, this GOD-GIFTED Surgeon is a QUACK. Seven days a week, this excellent doctor is devoted to keeping his patients on the right-track to Recovery. This a the TRUE description of "THE MAN and THE SURGEON"-----Dr. David JAYAKAR

Excellent Skils, bedside manners, work ethic and above all compassion is what sets this surgeon apart. An incredible personailty with contagious smile. His work on my husband was legendary. He repaired all the valves and did fix the aneurysm of the heart. Pleasure to know him

I was about to die due to heart failure from narrowing of my aortic valve. I was rejected by the medical center at Dallas due to medical issues I had inherited over years!! I has been over 5 months since Dr J fixed me. I am back in my farm doing work just like I had done 6 years ago. Thank you Dr J.

Dr. Jayakar saved my life. I knew 2 years ago I needed heart surgery but did not trust the doctors in my home town in Florida. By the time I saw Dr. Jayakar at Dt. Vincent in Erie, Pa. I was in bad shape. IR heartbeat and 4 bypasses all 80 to 100% blocked. He told my brother that I was a walking dead man and the operation that is usually two hours long lasted six hours. During that time Dr. Jayakar said he was afraid to take his eyes off my heart for even a second.This is the doctor that pioneered beating heart bypass surgery. Thank God he was the Doctor working on me. The people at St. Vincents call him the doctor with the gifted hands. Thank you Dr. Jayakar for saving my life.

My Mom just had open heart surgery by Dr Jayakar and his team. First the nurses who helped him were excellent both during and after surgery. They helped me to be at ease. Dr Jayakar is a gem. He is very concerned and the procedure he did in my mom was done without stopping her heart. In comparison to what my dad went through my mom recovered much faster and has a clearer mind. She got out of the hospital in 3 days. Great job doc.
