Dr. David Eugene Reinhardt, DO

100s of STARS for Dr. David Reinhardt! Dr. Reinhardt is a fabulous doctor and surgeon. He performed Reverse Shoulder Replacement on my right shoulder back in February 2023, and I am still under his care now in October. His surgery on my shoulder was flawless. I was given a nerve block which took care of pain the first couple of days. In total, my pain lasted only ten days. Since then, I have had absolutely NO pain - even during physical therapy. (My therapist could not believe it, either!) Dr. Reinhardt is thorough, competent, he patiently answered my many questions, and jovial - making me feel wonderfully comfortable. Because I was very afraid, it took me many months to finally decide to get surgery; however, I am so glad I did because my life has completely changed for the better. His office staff is very pleasant as well. Dr. Reinhardt looked in on me prior to hospital discharge and ordered at-home physical therapy to start immediately. On my first office visit after therapy, Dr. Reinhardt personally demonstrated the next group of exercises to help me better understand the recovery protocol. My remaining PT was on an outpatient basis. Now in October, I remain pain free. Bottom Line: I feel very Blessed to have had Dr. Reinhardt care for me. This Dr has an unbelievable ego problem.

Been a patient with Dr. Reinhardt for awhile, always a professional, knowledgeable, awesome bed side manner! Great surgeon, never felt better.

Dr. Reinhardt is one of the best orthopedic doctors around. He is kind, compassionate, intelligent, warm and friendly. He always puts a smile on your face. I had 4 surgeries from him and did extremely well with everyone of them.

Dr. Reinhardt was very helpful and thorough and kind. I hope I don't need surgery ever again, but I would go to Dr. Reinhardt if I did.

Extremely caring and conscientious. Had knee surgery by him and he called me that night to see how I was.I've been seeing him for at least 5-7 years and I've never felt rushed during an appointment.

I highly recommend this Dr. He has treated me aggressively, which is exactly what I needed. He does not give "false hope". His bedside manner is excellent. I have not seen an ego issue.

My sister, who is cognitively impaired, required knee replacement and followup care at a rehab facility. Dr. Reinhardt, rightfully so, was concerned about my sister's ability to endure the rehab and asked many necessary questions. In all contacts, he treated my sister in a dignified and very friendly manner and her surgery was a great success. When there were complications in getting her into a quality rehab facility, he was very helpful in this process and she was placed in a superb facility. As for the excessive waiting time and his ego, I say who cares. I would much rather have a high quality surgeon with an overly healthy ego than someone incompetent whose bedside manner is terrific. No one likes to wait but you have to wait for quality.

If you are looking for a surgeon who will answer all of your questions and address your concerns, and who understands your right to a second opinion and desire to get additional information, this is not the one! This person's ego is so inflated, that he was insulted when we expressed a desire to get a second opinion and retaliated in a most unprofessional manner.
