Dr. David Haris Trock, MD

This office is NOT what it used to be. Very high turnover and so different since new management took over. Management is TERRIBLE, I called for an office problem and spoke to a Vanessa about a problem recently and it was never resolved, mind you she was very rude and I felt rushed so I called back a week later for management and spoke to someone that said her name was orso and she was just as rude. Very sad this what it has become. I will be looking elsewhere for a rheumatologist. Walking in, the front staff is different to walking in the back was mortifying without the previous staff. Care isn’t as good and I see to many different new faces. Dr Trock himself is good, but care is based around the employees which is what makes a welcoming environment.

Dr. Trock is a compassionate, caring doctor that puts his patients first and foremost in his practice. I have personally known him to squeeze in patients to a very busy schedule because they needed his immediate care. Also, he has called my house on a weekend just to follow up and see if I was doing OK. He goes out of his way to do things to help his patients. He really cares about his patients and that shows throughout all of his practice.

Dr. Trock is very compassionate Doctor.

The office staff are very welcoming and there's never a long wait. Heather is the MOST, love her!! and Dr. Trock is very informed, professional and a good guy. I actually feel like my input matters when it comes to my treatment. A great doctor.

First visit was excellent spent a lot of time going over things second visit I wasn't very impressed Tried pushing a medication on me that I wasn't comfortable taking that other doctors didn't want to prescribe me

I have not had a follow up yet so can't rate diagnosis yet. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Trock listened to my concerns and seemed very understanding. It was a great experience.

Dr. Trock is a fine example of what an excellent physician should be like. He listens, he explains, and conducts his exam and evaluation as a dialog between Doctor and patient. More medical practitioners should be like him. This attitude of "caring professionalism" carries over to his office staff, and I can't say enough about his Nurse Heather is as personable and concerned for your well being as is the Doctor. Absolutely great operation!

Dr Trock is amazingly smart and professional. I love his approach, intelligence and mannerism. He has worked with me for a few years and I'm feeling normal again (smiling). I love, love, love his nurse heather. She is so happy, smart and perky and totally takes me away from the medical field that I approach on a day to day basis, remembers who I am and always asks how my family is since she knows me and knows her patients since I have been coming to him like forever. It's a very personable experience that I enjoy!

David Trock is one of the most professional doctors with whom I have had the pleasure of interacting. He took his time for our initial interview, entering new information into the Danbury Hospital data base while maintaining eye contact with me. I felt he was really listening. This was confirmed when I received a comprehensive summary of my visit. He committed to contacting my long term endocrinologist and discussing my history and recommended treatment. I spoke with this doctor as well. When I returned to Dr. Trock, it was apparent he had kept his commitment for this consultation. I highly recommend him, and I look forward to continuing as his patient in the future.

The office in Danbury is most refreshing providing plenty of light and airiness and cool water which is a lifesaver. The reception staff of Linda, Barb and Joan always courteous and professional.The pleasure of being seen promptly and no waiting time is such a plus. Heather is most pleasant and obtains vitals with a relaxed tone, that's a plus for BP reading. Dr. Trock has provided the utmost of care, concerns, and helpful suggestions throughout my visits. He advises to freely call if there are any issues that need to be addressed. I leave feeling refreshed and with hope and the will to keep on improving. I would highly recommend the practice.

Dr. Trock is the best "guru" in the region. His nurse Heather is extremely helpful and on on top of everything. They are very prompt and return calls in a timely fashion. I trust him with all of my medical problems. I would highly recommend them for your needs.

I was so happy to get an appointment so soon after I called and told Heather, his Nurse what my problem was. I never have to wait for Dr. Trock to see me. They are very punctual. He is so thorough in explaining how to make me feel better. He does not rush me out of my appointment.

Staff is friendly and courteous. Got there early, took me in early, and got out 3 minutes later than my scheduled appointment time. Most doctors require a long wait. I have never had to wait long with Dr. Trock and he always takes time to answer my questions and give me good advice.

Dr. Trock is very personable and appears to be listening and taking notes. When I received a copy of his summary to my doctor, I realized he was NOT listening. Asked if I was sun sensitive: I said yes! and briefly described my Dracula-like life avoiding the sun. In his report, Dr. Trock said I did not have sun sensitivity, along with several other inaccuracies. Reading other patient's reviews, it appears the sicker Dr. Trock THINKS you are, the better he listens and responds. I can't trust Dr. Trock to provide adequate care for me.

Dr. Trock is the BEST!! He is smart, caring and an expert in his field of rheumatology. I have been a patient of his for over 5 years and fly from Florida to see him. I have systemic scleroderma with ILD for which there is no known cure. When I was diagnoised I was told I had a 50% chance of being dead in 5 years; 80% chance in 10 years. Over the course of the years, I have tried experimental treatments, enrolled in clinical trials, investigated stem cell and lung transplants, etc.. and Dr. Trock has been there with me EVERY STEP of the way!! He is terrific at taking all the medical jargon and translating it for the average person (me) to understand. He is terrific at identifying and helping me understand the risks associated with the various experimental drugs and procedures. And he is great at taking a logical approach to any issue or problem. I could write a book on how great I think Dr. Trock is but in summary you will not find a more competent, smart and caring doctor. I was not planning on writing this review -- I simply was looking for his fax number when I came across this site - all I can say is that I am beating the odds -- and a HUGE amount of credit for that goes to Dr. Trock!!

Dr. Trock is without doubt the finest doctor I have ever known. I have been his patient for about 18 years. I have systemic lupus and several other autoimmune disorders and fibromyalgia. He has sent me to several other doctors for other conditions I have. They are all the same caliber as Dr. Trock is: the most intelligent and the warmest, most caring doctors who are also the best in their fields. Dr. Trock is one of those doctors that when he walks into the room, you feel better. He is an excellent diagnostician but also conveys wamth and caring. He really listens to you. He is rare and I can say that because I had lupus since I was 20 but not diagnosed until 41. I have been in many doctor's offices over the years and regularly see several now. Many of the doctors I saw didn't listen, didn't ask questions, jumped to a conclusion, dismissed me. I know that I am very lucky to be in Dr. Trock's care. He even is important in my weighing pros and cons of moving out of this area. I don't think I can find another specialist like him. His office staff is excellent and more courteous than other medical offices. His staff and his nurses over the years all have been professional and kind and I think that reflects how Dr. Trock treats them. There is almost no waiting time and yet when I need to talk about something, he conveys somehow that he has the time and wants to hear what I have to say.I have recommended him everywhere I go it seems, the latest was the mammogram technician. He took my friend as a patient immediately when I asked and I am grateful for that. If you need a rheumatologist, I recommend Dr. Trock highly. You can't find a better or nicer doctor any where.

Doctor Trock always spends as much time with me as I feel I need. I never feel rushed and he answers all my questions. I would recommend him to anyone with joint or rheumatism problems.
