Dr. Blodgett kept me from going blind!

Dr. Blodgett is the ABSOLUTE BEST doctor of ANY specialty that I have ever met, and I have seen a lot of doctors of a lot of different specialties because of my Multiple Sclerosis which is VERY hard to diagnose. I didn't want to believe that I had MS for quite some time and FINALLY when I had the pleasure of meeting Dr.Blodgett he was the one and ONLY person that made me see the truth, that I do in fact have MS and that I do NEED to be on treatment for it. If it wasn't for him I don't know what I would believe at this point! I would personally reccomend Dr.Blodgett to ANYONE that needs to see a GREAT ophthalmologist because he cares about you as an individual and is in NO HURRY and takes his time with you no matter how busy he may be!

Wonderful Doctor with a great, calm bedside manner. Even his voice can calm anyone who is nervous, like myself having a procedure or exam in the office. He is excellent with a diagnosis too. Very professional, friendly, kind staff and easy to make an appointment.

I cannot say enough about Dr Blodgett and his staff. He is the 4th eye dr that I have seen and he has given me some hope. I have been without vision in my right eye for 3.5 years. I wish that I would have seen him sooner. He is knowledgeable and he and his coworkers are funny and put you at ease. I am so grateful.

Dr. Blodgett is a very intelligent man who takes the time to figure out what is going on with you vs. just guess or read a MRI report and go from there. He can actually look at your MRI images and see what the radiologist missed. That is how after almost 4 yrs he found out what was going on with my eyes and head and diagnosed me. He actually cares about his patients unlike some neurologists. Great Doctor!

I have been to this doctor several times. My experience was very positive. A cheerful and interactive staff provided me quickly and efficiently. This atmosphere is not by accident. Dr. Blodget was this way with me. Its nice to know you are not treated like a number here!

I have been seeing dr. Blodgett for more than 10 years. He is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met. He knows all about the condition I suffer from, and he has used research to treat me. I appreciate being with a doctor who is on the cutting edge of medicine.

Dr. Blodgett has treated me for over 10 years and I would not think about going to another Doctor. I have a peculiar case that 3 other neuro-ophthalmologists either mis-diagnosed or could not figure out the problem. Dr. Blodgett did figure out the problem and has correctly treated me since. He is the only eye Doctor I would recommend to anyone, family or friends.

I was referred to Dr. Blodgett after my optometrist found some swelling with my optic nerve that he was concerned about. Dr. Blodgett was extremely caring, confident, professional, and willing to answer all of my questions and ease my fears. I never thought I would be diagnosed with something that is not very well known like inter cranial hypertension. While ruling a few other things out, Dr. Blodgett had me meet with the world renowned Dr. Malcom Fields as well, and he assured me I was in great hands with Dr. Blodgett. Dr. Blodgett performed my optic nerve sheath fenestration and I am already feeling 100% better. I am glad to have found such a great doctor in the Saginaw/Bay region area.

After dealing with an issue for many moths, I became discouraged because my ophthalmologist at the time contined to give me the same diagnosis and treatment when it was obvious to me it was it working. Through a web search I found Dr. David Blodgett. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He willingly addressed all of my questions and made sure that I understood the diagnosis and plan of treatment. I prayed to find a doctor like him. I'm so happy my prayers were answered. He's great.

When I 18 I was referred to Dr. Blodgett, The original Doctor thought I had a brain tumor. Dr, Blodgett did all the appropriate testing to be sure I was out of harms way, He found no tumors but a few bumps that could possible lead to M.S. He had me do weekly test at first than 2 week and just kept an eye on my condition. The staff at this office has always been warm hearted. His wife which is his nurse is the best nurse ever. Dr. Blodgett had become our friend and part of our family. Along with the office itself. One time I had an appointment on my birthday, I remember someone else in the office was celebrating something as well they offered to allow me to join in. I will never for get the generosity and loyalty Dr. Blodgett and his loving staff had showed me.
