Dr Howard was quite a nice surprise. He spent the time we needed to understand the prognosis and the way forward as clearly as possible. I feel like I’m in very good hands.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with Dr. Howard. He took the time to teach me about the cause of my condition, and he spent time making sure I understood. He was not in a hurry, or on a computer.

Dr. Howard listens. He doesn't just tell me what is going on with my knee, he explains, and gives me options of care -- sessions with him are collaborative,

This was my first time seeing Dr. Howard. He had a great bedside manner, explained things so I could understand. And gave me recommendations.

I had fantastic results from hip replacement surgery. His care and concern for my recovery has been instrumental in my speedy recovery.

I had a great visit with Dr. Howard. Although it turned out my issue wasn’t one best handled by an orthopedist, he was honest about it and gave me great insight on a path forward. He was even kind enough to tell me to contact medical records to get my last name sorted out as I recently changed it. He spent ample time in our appointment and I would highly recommend him based on his care and compassion for patients.

Have seen Dr Howard for previous sports related injury. When I had a different injury i made sure to go back to him for a different one. He has impeccable bedside manner made me understand what my injury was and how to treat it AND listened to me. Dr. Howard was straightforward, listened then diagnosed. He gave simple tips to reduce pain and preserve energy that began to work after only three days! Going forward, as an arthritic hip will do, I look forward to his expertise and treatment. A+ all the way.

I had an appointment with Dr. Howard for an elbow injury I sustained after a fall. This was a visit after having been to an urgent care facility over the weekend in which they recommended that I see an orthopedist. Dr. Howard reviewed my x-ray with me and was very helpful in explaining my injury in terms I could understand. He also let me know what I needed to do to begin the healing process and the possible outcomes. He was patient, staying with me to answer my questions and I look forward to seeing him for my follow-up appointment in a couple weeks. Highly recommend Dr. Dean Howard.

Had my right knee replaced by Dr Howard. Very thorough in explaining the surgery and a very professional office that runs on time. I would have no reservations in referring Dr Howard . Nice to find a Dr who is friendly and has a personality.

My original appt was due to a referral from my primary doctor. The appt went well and an MRI was quickly scheduled on my knee. After the MRI, I was given the results over the phone by Dr. Howard (kudos for him to call me after hours) to explain the diagnosis (ruptured ACL) and next steps (PT). After at least a dozen messages left with the office trying to get the script details to the PT office and later when trying to determine next steps once my PT was complete - I have never heard back from anyone! It's been over a month now. Thankfully, I found another Orthopedic doctor. I've already gotten my 2nd opinion, had my surgery and the post-op appt. I am thankfully healing and absolutely LOVE the surgeon I found! I'll never know anything about Dr. Howard's skills as I was unable to connect with him or his office after the initial appointment.
