I am glad to hear that this monster is retiring!

I was completely and totally satisfied with Dr. Anderson and I look forward to seeing her as my doctor for years to come. Before my visit I did a lot of research and saw a lot of negative comments about "being rude" and "horrible bedside manner". I can see how some may see her as a tad harsh but I can assure you that she is just speaking the truth. She will tell you what is in your best interest whether it is what you want to hear or not. She was very nice and has a great sense of humor. She is a no BS type of doctor and doesn't sugar coat, which I really appreciated and her office staff is SOO nice.

Terrible beside manner!

I would never recommend this dr to anyone. Terrible experience. Makes assumptions instead of taking the time to actually assess your health. Acted like I for sure must have diabetes due to my bmi or I was for sure gonna get it during my pregnancy. Got my blood work back and I'm completely healthy with a decreased risk of diabetes. Stressing out a pregnant woman on assumptions is crazy. Telling me I need to induce when I'm only 8 weeks pregnant due to bmi is crazy. I'm muscular and work out plus I'm tall with a large frame bmi is not an accurate assessment of health for me nor is it a reason to tell me to induce when I'm only 8 weeks pregnant. I've never been treated so poorly in all my life. I went to two Drs before I got pregnant and had blood work and was told I was healthy to conceive. I trust two sane Drs over a woman who makes assumptions.

It may be true she doesn't sugar coat anything but she definitely knows what's important. She always had very clear simple straight forward answers whenever we had questions and we appreciated it a lot. We had a very happy and good experience with her with our first one and we are definitely going back to her for the second one.

Great Doctor, great staff

This was the worst experience of my life. I went in to get a Nexoplanan removed from my arm first appointment was told oh sorry she isn't certified to that 2nd appointment she says well i don't want to.. She lied to me she was very rude, she acted as if i did not matter, She put down my regular Dr. I cannot believe anyone would go to her. She is just rude and has no people skills at all. If i could give no stars or a negative i would.

She's one of my favorite doctors, and her assitant is also terrific.

Rudest Doctor ever encountered. I went back just in case Dr was having a bad day. No. Still awful!!

I had a rash in my vaginal area and she prescribed a cortico-steroid cream. After using it 3 days I had a reaction which had been mentioned on the insert with the cream as a rare but serious reaction that should get immediate medical attention. It seemed that too much of the cream absorbed into my skin and got into my blood stream, causing severe swelling and redness on my forehead. I phoned Dr. Anderson to ask what she thought I should do and she totally blew me off, acting rather annoyed by the whole question, saying that nobody ever reacted to the cream before and maybe I had a bug bite (HUH??) Anyway, I told her I'd stop applying the cream and see what happens, and she hung up without even saying goodbye. The next morning, the swelling and redness and puffiness was much worse, and was all down the side of my face and all over my head, and I was running a high fever, so I went into an Urgent Care clinic. The doctor there immediately prescribed an antibiotic and felt that I did have an unusual reaction to the medication. I won't even bother calling Dr. Anderson back again and will find another doctor to do my next PAP. Strange lady.

She never even looks at your file until minutes after she comes into the room..She has NO PEOPLE Skills whatsoever!! She even went so far as telling my daughter in law who called in for a question about her pregnancy that she had miscarried! She got the files mixed up!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR!

I had a great experience with this doctor. She is straigthforward, clear minded, explains procedures, caring, to the point, and very capable. I

I was warned not to go to this Dr. but I went anyway. She is the rudest, most condescending Dr. I've ever encountered. When I tried to hand her a note of my symptoms (because I have a memory problem) she reached for the note, then let it drop, and responded "I hate notes." When I told her I was so overheated that I was comfortable in Alaska without a coat like everyone else, she responded "Maybe you should move to Alaska." She also chastised me for following the Physician Assistants medical advice because "they are NOT Doctors." I did go to my follow up appointment and she was much nicer, but this lady obviously hates her clients and needs to move on.

I chose Dr Anderson not knowing how rude she was. I did get warned by quite a few people not to go to her. It was my first pregnancy, every appointment she seemed irritated, and annoyed about everything. She would look at you like you were stupid. By 38 weeks I wanted to get induced and she said IM rushing things be patient. LONG story short I was almost 2 weeks over due and had to get an emergency c section and baby had complications. I would never go to her ever again and will never recommend anyone to her. She needs to retire and it's clear she hates her job!

She's a decent doctor, but her and her staff do not have wonderful manners. I could over hear them all making fun of a patient. I also found myself hating going to my appointments because the people were rude. To the point of my spouse refusing to go with me even though he picked her. She has better bedside manner in delivery, but im not sure that made up for all the awful visits. I also drove from Oroville for my appointments and on more than one occasion arrived to be told she wouldn't be back for hours due to delivery which is fine, but feel the staff could have called me and canceled. If you think because shes a female you will be more comfortable you might want to reconsider. I also had complications after delivery and ended up with an infection and hospitalized 4 days after bleeding 5 weeks straight for her to tell me it wasn't pregnancy related even though I saw a different OB and after tests said it was.

Dr. Anderson is a fantastic doctor. Unfortunately, her staff is AWFUL! Linda who works at the front desk is the rudest person I have ever come in contact with! I have had two babies under the care of Dr. Anderson, and I love her. But, I have had way too many problems with getting appointments, coming to my appointment and having the staff tell me my insurance is not current when it really was and refusing to reschedule my appointment in a timely manner. If want a good doctor and don't mind a rude staff then go to her. But, there are plenty of good doctors out there with good staff!

I have a pretty routine chronic pain issue that she couldn't diagnose in a year of visits. When I finally found information online about a condition with my symptoms, she made her reluctance to look at it VERY plain. I later went elsewhere and got the diagnosis I had suspected, confirmed through a rigorous testing process that it never even occurred to her to begin.

Bedside manner is awful dont even know why she is still a DR. seems as if she hates her job rude and angry woman

I really, really wish I had read the reviews before I went to this doctor. She needs to retire or find something that she enjoys doing and not take it out on her patients. She is condescending, rude, and just very unpleasant to deal with either over the phone or in person. She doesn't listen to you at all. She asks you something then interrupts part of the way through and says something based off of your half spoken answer that's completely wrong. She does the exact opposite of what she says she will do. I could go on for hours. Her examination was very rough and she makes startling rude remarks. I regret going to her and she's just one more reason I dread going to any doctor. OBGYN appointments are take their toll already without having to deal with a (fill in your favorite insult) I beg you for your own sake to find a different doctor. Peace to you and yours.

I went to Dr. Anderson because she was the only female OBGYN I could find that was accepting patients who are not pregnant. I went for my annual appointment and after waiting in the waiting room for 20 minutes I was told that Dr. Anderson was at the hospital with a woman in labor and they didn't know when she would be back. I rescheduled for a week later. My second appointment was canceled by Dr. Anderson and no reason was given, just that she would not be in the office. I finally got to see her on my third visit. The visit went fine but Dr. Anderson made a comment about how the birth of my babies had torn me up inside, and she also told me that in the afternoon (which is when my appointment was) she just didn't feel like working anymore. I thought the comment about me was really insensitive...why would I need/want to hear that? The receptionist can be nice, and not so nice...I guess depending on how her day is going. The nurse was very nice. I had trouble getting Dr. Anderson to write me refills for my thyroid medicine. I was told that I needed to see a general practice doctor for that. My old OBGYN is the one that diagnosed the problem, and has always been the one to prescribe the medicine. When I told her that she did write me a prescription. I agree with the other comment that Dr. Anderson's bedside manner is terrible, and she is condescending. She was out-right rude on the phone to me on one occasion. I will never go back.
