Staff and doctor are both heartless and care nothing about people's problems. We waited 3 months for our appointment and the information on the website led us to a closed office, and the woman behind the window refused to see us even though we made it to the proper office only 20 minutes late. The doctor was sitting in his office reading a newspaper and said my friend would not be seen because he doesnt do walkins. This should not be considered a walk in as we had an appointment. And if we had made it on time, we still would have been waiting in his waiting room after only 20 minutes. My friend has had unexplained passing out for months and everyone tells us we HAVE TO be seen by a neurologist... Except this man doesnt give a dam.

HE ONLY SPENDS A FEW MINUTES WITH YOU AND RUSHES YOU OUT. HE SPENDS ABOUT TWO- FIVE MINUTES WITH YOU AND PLEASE DONT ASK QUESTIONS, HE WILL GET YOU UP AND GIVE YOU A SCRIPT TO GIVE TO ANN TO GET YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT

Dr Tikku is a very good Dr but the staff is terrible. When I emailed him about this issue, got an email from his office pretty much saying that we can always go somewhere else. And that's what I did. When I got my records, there was barely any information there.

Exellent person, we need more like him. I will recommend him to any body that nerds a neorologist. The best.

Dr. tikku is a wonderful dr. very respectful caring and acurate. He can also be funny and make you smile and laugh when you seem nervous. I would recomend him anytime.

At last, Deland has a fine neurologist! Compared to the other neurologists in the area, Dr. Tikku provides exemplary care. He is attentive to the patient's words, actions, movements, etc. Instead of relying solely on tests, he actually listens to the patient.

i got to see the doctor he ran me around his office ask me how i surport my family because i dont have a job did not understand that part of med. so we will wait for my doc records and see what dr.tikku can do for me

I have known Dr. Tikku for a few years and he is an EXCELLENT Neurologist and is very caring. I see the other reviews left here about his office staff and since his moving to his own practice, these along with other issues have resolved. I do understand that people definately would be offended by being turned away for payments and etc. But I also understand that the doctor has expenses to pay also. Dr. Tikku is also very willing to negoitate on things like this when an issue arises. He has always been very caring and listened to me regarding my condition when I have gone to my appointments and does not treat me as "just another patient". His bed side manner is impecable and I would definately recommend him to anyone and everyone that is looking for a great Neurologist.

I have been seen by several other local Neurologists due to an ongoing and severe problem I have. None of them could hold a candle to Dr. Tikku. He takes the time to listen to you and he really does care about his patients. He is not one of those Neurologists who just gives you more pills to take. No, Dr. Tikku will try to find out what the problem is and address/fix it. Course, if you need medication for your medical problem he will prescribe it. But he is careful about not over prescribing drugs, which I believe shows what a great and caring Dr he is. I have never had a problem with his office staff or his Nurse and I have been going to him for over 3 years. They have been very good about calling me back when needed and providing a high level of courtesy. Of course the front staff have to make sure you have insurance - or the ability to pay the bill - just as every Dr's office does these days. I've watched them with other patients and have never seen them be rude to anyone. I highly recommend, and have referred others to, Dr. Tikku and his staff

Office personnel was very unfriendly did not seem to know what they were doing about my test results and seemed disoriented and hostile made me feel unwanted and confused they acted more like a collection agency then being able to see the doctor on my scheduled appointment and had no concern about my well being and state of mind I told them they were acting in a unprofessional manner and I would seek my medical help elsewhere they told me that was fine with them I do not recommend this doctor to anybody now or in the future or there Immature office personnel

Second neurologist seen - kept migraine diary, tried steroids, beta blockers, fiorcet and topomax. After several instances of me telling him it was not working, he referred me to a pain management specialist which the referral doctor was of no help; talked to me for 15 min and I was charged $350!!! If you're looking for a good neurologist, I would not suggest him at all.

The doctor was referred by a friend and I was extremely happy with the time he spent with me. I actualy did not feel rushed for once.

The doctor was fine. His office staff is horrible. I attempted to call Dr. Tikku's nurse "Martha"to get a refill on my medication. After getting her voicemail and leaving my phone number 3 times I was very dissappointed that they never even bothered to return my call. I had to go to another doctor to get the medicine as I finally ran out. This was a terrible experience for me. They just don't seem to care. I would never recommmend this doctor to anyone.
